Kakum National Park
The Kakum National Park has alot of plants species and animals. The Park is home to the famous Kakum canopy walk way.
Elmina Castle
The Elmina castle is the first Colonial building in the Sub Sahara Africa. This Castle have a very significant history when it comes to the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade. We will also do a community tour the Elmina Fishing village.

4.00Overall great, yet heavy experience touring the Slave River, Cape Coast and Elmina castles. Emmanuel ‘Kojo’ our driver was very informative about the cultural history and laying out the days agenda. The experience is truly a 5, but due to the travel challenge getting to the coast, I rated it 4. This has nothing to do with BigBen Tours, but the road construction. If you experience motion sickness or is not favorable of off road conditions, this may not be the time to take this tour. The construction is expected to be completed in 2027. The drive to the coast was a bit over 4 hrs one- way and approximately 3 of those hours are turbulent. In my opinion, if I owned setting up these tours, I would remove those requiring this route until construction is completed, other modes of transportation is available or clearly stating the transportation experience in the activity details. Also, there was no notice of wearing white to the river ceremony in the details either. But still, the actual tour stops were good.

5.00Samuel was a wonderful guide. He is knowledgeable, personable and took great care of us. I have some issues walking and he was patient and helpful.
This tour is a “Must-Do” if you visit Ghana.

5.00This tour was absolutely amazing and my tour guide Emanuel (Kojo) was superb. He was so pleasant, gave me so much information along the tour, a great driver on a bumpy ride and made me feel super safe. He gave me the history of the settlements of different towns along the way and we had great conversation about the tour, what I was experiencing and life in general. This tour is a “Must Do” if you visit Ghana.

5.00Very great experience with BigBen tours today! The drivers and tour guides were really great. The road to get to the Cape Coast is very long due to construction and traffic 3.5-4 hrs, however the experience and education from visiting the actual slave holdings and recognition of the lives lost during this dark time was beyond life changing. Would highly recommend.

5.00Big Ben 1GH tour company was very organized with great transportation. They went above and beyond even helping a coulple in our group obtain a Visa Upon Arrival after their passport was loat. The tour was extremely heart felt and very informative with additional guides with passionate historica context. I highly recommend Kofi as your tour guide and give BiG BEN 1GH an A+++

5.00I had an incredible time on my Cape Coast tour with Ben and his driver Bismarck. From start to finish, the experience was seamless. They were kind, open, and genuinely passionate about sharing the local culture. I especially appreciated the thoughtful music they played throughout the journey, which set the tone and added to the immersive feel of the day. Pick-up was prompt, and while I had a bit of confusion on my end about the timing, everything was smoothed over quickly. I’d just recommend confirming the exact pick-up details in advance to avoid any miscommunication. Ben and his team took care of all entry fees, which made it easy to simply relax and enjoy each stop. Every site had its own dedicated guide with deep, unique knowledge, which added layers of richness to the experience. While lunch isn’t included, Ben ensures there’s a stop where your meal is ready and waiting—a nice touch that kept the day running smoothly.
