The Irish Dance Experience lets you give Irish dancing a whirl in a lively, friendly and inclusive environment. Come alone or with company, and take to the floor with like-minded dancers-to-be.
We are professional dancers who have all danced on the Riverdance stage.
At the Irish Dance Experience, we’ll help you tap into the rhythm of Galway as you swing, shuffle and batter your way around the dance floor.

5.00This is so much fun for anyone who wants a unique, engaging, and active experience. We like folk dancing and learning a few basic steps ( and some more advanced for the ambitious) was very exciting. Siobhan is a great teacher and warm personality. And gifted dancer!

5.00I arranged an Irish dancing class for my sister's hen and we loved it! Siobhan was so fun and inclusive (with my rickety old mum too lol). We had such a great time and would deffo recommend if you just want a fun afternoon in Galway, plus highly recommend going our for a pint after.

5.00Shivan is a wonderful and inspiring teacher who toured with River Dance for 15 years. She led the class with joy and clear instructions, making us feel competent in doing the basic dances. She made the class fun and engaging throughout the class. Highly recommend her workshop to learn Irish Dance and have a ball from people around the world.

5.00This is a super fun experience, and was a wonderful way to have fun inside when it was raining. We had a sub from the normal teacher, but she was wonderful! The class doesn’t have to be a workout, but definitely can be if you get into it haha. You learn multiple types/styles of dance from a former professional Irish dancer! How cool is that!

5.00Super fun activity! In just 90 minutes we learned three different dances--each one kind of builds on the other. In addition to the dance steps, we learned about the history of each dance, including why Irish dancers keep their upper bodies so stiff and straight. Our instructor AnnMarie was very clear and patient with different learning styles and emphasized participation over perfection, which was important when the full speed music came on! Highly recommend this for adults and kids alike!

5.00The whole experience was amazing. It was quick and easy to book. We went for a hen do in Galway. The dancing was great craic, everyone enjoyed it. Aoife, the teacher was incredible. Everyone had a great laugh.
