Departing from Marina Bandar Al Rowdha, we'll start our adventure with a thrilling dolphin watching experience, admiring the beautiful views of the coastline and limestone cliffs. We often see pods of over fifty dolphins, which dance around our boat! And you never know, we can have a high chance of witnessing various species of whale in their natural habitat along our whale watching session.

What To Expect
Daymaniyat Islands Nature Reserve
This tour will take you towards Daymaniyat Islands with the views of South Muscat coastline, including rocky faces, fishing villages, and historical structures. You can then either observe dolphins (if reasonably with the course), or a fishing trolling experience with views of Fahal Island, or if lucky both. We have selected Al Jabal Al Kabeer Island for this tour due to its natural beauty and to allow our guests to experience the sandy beaches outside the bird migration season (November to April) per the local Environmental Agency regulations. Heading back to Muscat along Muscat coastline with visible landmarks. The coast of South Muscat features historical forts, and watchtowers. These date to period between 1507 and 1650. Additionally, the tour also including more current cultural structures, such as Al Alam Palace, Al Bahar Street, and Souq Mutrah. Your cruise will then offer you a full view of the sun setting behind the rocky faces above Al Bahar Street.

Amazing boat trip to Damaniyat Islands and Bandar Khairan

5.00There is nothing better than exploring a country from the point of view of a local. We had a great time with Q Tours! It is a family run company run by locals from the Qantab area. I love that the brothers and sisters all work together. You get to see the area through their eyes and you see their favorite spots in the area. The boat was super clean and had everything you need towels, water, yummy fresh healthy sandwiches and snacks. We took the boat from 11am to just before sunset to Damaniyat Islands with Captain Ibrahim. It took over an hour to reach the island, but we saw dolphins on the way which was a huge plus. When we reached the island they gave us snorkeling gear to see the fish and turtles there. We were coming back, before sunset, her took us on the coastal route and pointed out historic buildings. We were so happy with the service, that when we went to Muscat again we called them up and rented the boat out again for 3 hours to go to Bandar Khairan. Captain Ibrahim took us to a new spot this time called Bandar Khairan, and we snorkeled at different spots and saw more fish and turtles. I highly recommend this company to anyone visiting Oman. Next time I want to try a different type of trip with them which will be camping under the stars!

5.00Abdullah, our boat captain was very experienced. This is a family owned local business. The boat was new and modern and comfortable. We saw dolphins and turtles and went to a few islands and on the way back we followed the coastline for sunset and Abdullah took us into various bays to show us the history of Muscat and the amazing rock formations. Abdullah was the perfect host and he is very passionate and proud to share the natural beauty and history of the region. An incredible experience.

5.00Went on 2 amazing trips with Q tours . They were so friendly and professional, very knowledgeable and tailor made our days . We had Ibrahim for both days . He was the best !! It’s a family run business so very hands on and paying attention to small details . Shahad liased with me via what’s app and she was so thorough and well organised . Can’t recommend them enough !!’

5.00The boat trip was the highlight of our holiday and we are glad we went over to the Daymaniyat islands as they were a slice of heaven. Aside from seeing so many dolphins on route we were also able to see some cultural sites of Muscat from the water. Our captain Ibrahim was so welcoming and informative, plus the boat was really comfortable for the day. We’ll be back and would highly recommend

5.00Captain Yousuf made sure that all our requirements available.The condition of the boat was excellent,the food was tasty and well boxed.The captain was so friendly and caring.We went off from Bandar Alroudah and reached the islands in one and half hour.Captain Yousuf choose the day where the sea was not rough.We arrived at the islands did some snorkling and swimming.The water was crystal clear.They made our trip memorable.This will not be the last to go with Qantab tours
