City of London
After greeting your guide at Temple Station for 2pm, you'll follow in the footsteps of the Romans, who built the nearly 2000 year old wall still visible today. Wander through this tangle of hidden sights to stumble upon the 12th-century Temple Church, home to the Knights Templar. Fast-forward through history to discover the medieval Tower of London, home to the beefeaters. Learn about the great fire of 1666 that decimated the city at the Monument before marveling at the domed masterpiece, St. Paul’s Cathedral, rebuilt after the tragedy. You’ll see picturesque views along the Thames, the river spanned by the iconic 19th-century Tower Bridge and more modern Millennium Bridge. Your energetic guide will bring London’s long history to life as you weave through the skyscrapers that hide some of its best kept stories.
Temple Church
After meeting your guide at Temple tube station, you will visit Temple Church, the 12th century place of worship for the Knights Templar. As the Knights once had dominion over this part of London, the church was constructed as their English headquarters before the organization’s dissolution in the 14th century.

We took this tour with Colin and it was fantastic. As it turned out, we were the only people on this tour, but we’re sure it would have been great with a larger group as well. He brought the city to life with engaging stories and we learned a lot of fascinating history. We highly recommend this tour and Colin as a guide.

Ellie is a top notch guide. She speaks from a deep knowledge of the area, including personal historic research and anecdotes rather than a monotone, rehearsed script. She’s relaxed, pleasant, and keeps the volume of her tour to a respectful level. She’s the kind of person I’d have a coffee with anytime, anywhere.

Stephanie was super knowledgeable and provided a new perspective of London. She answered all of our questions and gave us new insights. She showed us a side of London that would be invisible to most tourists. I highly recommend the tour and Stephanie as a tour guide

My wife and I had a great time during our walking tour experience. The tour guide Wesley was extremely knowledgeable and was great to listen to while guiding us. Don't suggest going on a Sunday like we did as a lot of places were not open, although we did have the tour to our selves which was nice.

Ellie did a wonderful job of keeping us entertained and informed at the same time. She has a natural charisma that is contagious and an energy to match. We so enjoyed all the tips and inside knowledge she had to offer.

London city history fans, this tour is for you! We were on this tour in late March and thoroughly enjoyed the walk (which is more walking than many other London walks) with our fantastic guide, Becky. She introduced us to historic parts of the old city such as the Temple area and the guildhall and showed us many things we may not have seen on our own or doing a self guided walk including the oldest pub in London and the Temple Church (not open on weekends). If you’ve seen all the sights in Westminster, try this walk. It was extremely enjoyable and informative.

This tour was amazing. Becky, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Old City London. We learned so much about the city we could not have learned on our own. Highly recommend.

Ekaterina was an excellent host with lots of interesting facts and insights about the city. The afternoon felt like so much more than seeing the big ticket tourist attractions as we got a feel for the real Rome (and tried the best local pizza and gelato!). When she met us with a spare umbrella/poncho after a surprise rain shower, we knew we were in good hands! A definite highlight of our trip!
