This tour was acceptable. The guide was nice, on-time, spoke English, and provided a long tour of many places. However, we really didn't learn much. It was not a serious academic tour and we've surprisingly learned more basic information about the religious site by doing other subsequent tours in other places. Overall, I wouldn't recommend. You won't learn that much more than wandering around alone.

Aya was an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and attentive guide who truly brought the temple and neighborhood to life. It was a phenomenal start to our weeklong stint in Tokyo. I would highly recommend this tour to any first time visitors to the area, and know if Aya is your guide you’ll be in excellent hands.
