It was a really great and informative tour with our guide Keiko. She was very knowledgeable and skilled at answering a wide variety of questions. We learned a lot about this unique area‘s rich history, food and culture on our tour while also getting insightful local knowledge from Keiko. I would definitely recommend this experience to others.

I met Chris at the meeting spot. He apologized because his tour was for a different time slot. He waited for the group but no one showed up. Very informative. He gave me the information on the guide for my group. My tour guide was Rio. Shes Japanese. Very soft spoken but informative. She even has visual aids. When asked questions, she peovided answers. It was raining but she was smiles and provided ample time to enjoy the experience. She even provided time to use restrooms and fun facts.

Aya did a great job of explaining the history of the temple and answered many questions from the group about life in Japan and Japanese culture. She also showed us how to carry out the customs associated with visiting a Buddhist temple -purifying hand wash, inhaling incense, making an offering to ask for a wish to be granted, and having our fortunes told. It was a fun morning!

The Asakusa area is the oldest in Tokyo and rich in history. We didn't want to just go there and walk around on our own. Thus, we picked this walking tour as it fit our needs and it delivered. We had a friendly and knowledgeable guide that shared relevant information at the level appropriate for our group - which was especially hard with the tourist crowds. But we learned so much then went back later and were able to navigate ourselves around, articulate and understand what we were experiencing and overall enriched our trip when we were out on our own.

Keiko was a great guide, telling us about the temple, surrounding areas, and proper etiquette for visiting temples and shrines. Our group enjoyed the tour and learned so much!
