On this tour you will visit the main highlights of Valletta, while also visiting an often ignored but equally fascinating part of the city. The tour starts at the modernized entrance of Valletta, and while walking along the majestic streets of the city, your guide will point out all the main landmarks, while keeping you entertained with fascinating and little-known true stories. What was it like to be a patient at the Holy Infirmatory? Or a galley slave on the ships of the Order? Were all Knights behaving in accordance to their vows?

We had an excellent guide ! Douglas was so knowledgeable, enthusiastic and clearly spoken. He kept the group moving, while being thoughtful for our comfort (finding shady spots whenever possible) and our safety on the busy narrow streets. He kept us well informed and entertained for the duration of the tour. It was most interesting. Highly recommended !

Douglas our tour guide was fantastic! He provided us with lots of interesting facts about Malta’s history. The tour took us past some of Valletta’s great landmarks and some lovely streets.

Fantastic tour with Douglas as our guide, who took us round some unknown places we would never have found on our own. He was very knowledgable. Thoroughly worth booking this trip.

The harbor cruise was nice and informative. But finding it was not easy. Please put a clearer sign or logo for future customers to find you. There are many cruise companies near by the bus stop. In nowhere I ever saw “ferry 4”. Remember not all customers have WiFi when outside the hotel. Using WiFi to find the “meeting point” is not possible if you have no WiFi.

We had a great time in Malta with our Scottish tour guide! We walked all around Valletta learning about the history and cultural life of the island.

The tour by Matteo was a delight. In addition to the more well trodden spots in Valetta we were show, n a number of less well known areas. Getting to any of the areas without a guide would be impossible and Matteo led us expertly. The complex history and all the back stories of intrigue between the Knights and their invaders was beautifully laid out. We even ended up in the old redlight area near the end of our travels.

Guide was extremely knowledgable so tour was a 3 hour history lesson of Valletta. Very personable with a great sense of humour, guide was very open to questions. Tour hits many spots and guide was great at keeping to the schedule.

Julia was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Her passion came through and she managed to distil a huge amount of information into three hours with energy, humour and story-telling. We learned so much and our visit to Malta was enhanced by being able to see Valetta through the eyes of its rich history.
