What To Expect
Padstow
The walk begins at the White Shelter on North Quay Parade, near the ferry landing. Here, we’ll explore the ancient origins of Padstow — from its early trading links with distant civilizations to the arrival of St Petroc, whose legacy shaped the town’s spiritual heritage.
Padstow
We now move along North Quay toward the venerable inner harbour, which has been home to ancient buildings with a secret passageway, a ghost and Monks. At this time we also learn about the poverty of Padstow before the coming of the railway.

5.00I can honestly say this was the most wonderful experience - everyone should book in with John - he has amazing local knowledge, you begin to feel part of the community as you are always saying hello to people. He is super friendly and looks after everyone. As someone who has been coming to Padstow all my life - with family ties, I learnt a lot and could share my own stories. I am lucky to have learnt a lot and gained a new friend.

5.00We turned up on the off chance there was space. Luckily there were only 3 others on the tour. Had a great informative walking tour around Padstow. Lots of new information gained. Will definitely recommend to friends.

5.00I gathered together a group of friends together to do this tour. There was one other couple as well. We all thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish. Never boring, always entertaining and informative. We were all local ish and it was great to discover more about out town. Thank you John.
