The tour about the Roma was super interesting. Mihai is very knowledgeable and knows a lot about the history of the Roma and society in general. We walked through the important points of the city, got to know their neighborhood and a workshop supported by them. I recommend it 100%.

Very educational experience. The guide was able to tell very fascinating and instructive about this painful part of Romanian history. Moreover, recent history was certainly not forgotten. Highly recommended.

First of all the weather was not great, so we were prepared. We had a text from Mihai to say bring brollies and coats as it forecast rain. We meet Mihai at 12.00pm, McDonald, Bulevardal General which is about 30-40 minutes walk from our hotel. Its a 3 hour walk so wear sensible shoes for this tour. The tour was about Roma (Gypsies ) through its past, present and hopefully the future without any discrimination. We did try avoid the rain a couple of times, but Mihai knew where to go for shelter. He took us to a café, so we could have a break for half an hour and to dry off. Before we finished Mihai took us to a traditional Roma workshop where contemporary jewelry etc is all made by hand. which is based in own home -Mesteshukar ButiQ .We were showed around the place we brought some items but you don't have to feel obligated to buy. We had a lovely time, well educated, despite the rain. with a different view and insight to Roma and what they went through (and some still do) Well done Mihai and thank you.👍

  • Interesting, informative, surpassing our expectations!

This tour was something different & a real eye opener . Mihai was very personable, knowledgeable & considerate to our needs (e.g.shade, rest). During this tour we walked for over 2 hrs in a variety of streets & showed us buildings & areas related to the history of the Roma people. Mihai was passionate in his delivery & had a personal connection & empathy to the Roma people. He was very knowledgeable regarding current legislation. The tour was well paced with time to sit down, have a coffee & ask questions. It was an excellent tour & we really enjoyed it.
