Eilean Donan Castle
Our first stop is at the iconic Eilean Donan Castle. This castle is instantly recognisable the world-over as it has featured in many films and innumerable Scottish souvenirs! We will stop at our favourite vantage point here to enable you to take some photos and admire the majestic beauty of this iconic sight in its wonderful coastal location. Please note that there will NOT be an opportunity to visit the castle.
Portree
Upon arrival in Portree your guide will point you in the direction of the harbour viewpoint; from here you can admire the pretty pastel-coloured houses that the town is famous for. With its quirky shops, cute cafes, picturesque location and interesting sights you will certainly find plenty to occupy you during our 45 minute stop here. This will be your opportunity to purchase lunch from one of the town's bakeries or yummy takeaways.

One of the best tours I’ve been on. Andrew was amazing with his British humor and integrated it perfectly with a lot of historical information. The drive, the conversation, the trip were all amazing on top notch.

Mr. Fabolous is very nice. He complemented our group as obedient in terms of meeting time then he added a stop for us which is at Eleain Donan Castle. We really appreciated that. The tour was very informative and got good recommendation esp on the food- one of them is getting out lunch at Isle of Skye Baking Co. We had the gammon with the apple sauce and it was lovely! Except for the winding roads which got me quite dizzy, the experience is really fantastic. Hopefully, we get more time in each destination like in Portree and get a better view spot on the Old Man of Storr and Urquhart castle. Overall, we def recommend the Wow Tours! Great experience.

It was amazing. Murdock was phenomenal. Our daughter ended up getting engaged so that made the tour that much better. Highly recommend.

Colin and Andrew were our tour guides/driver. They did such an amazing job! Colin had so many stories, fun music for the ride, and was so knowledgeable about EVERYTHING! I don't think there was a single question he wasn't able to answer for those of us on board. His driving was great too. I get nauseous sometimes when traveling, but it was smooth sailing with him driving! We loved the trip so much. It was 12 hours and we saw so many lochs, castles, had lunch at a charming little place and then made it to the fairy pools. I'd 100% recommend this trip!

Honestly, the planning in this tour was disappointing. This was my second time in isle of Skye, this time with family...and in the long tour of 12 hours , we had only one break for coffee and food together for 45 mins. Almost the half the tour we were in the bus and the stop for Milan Donan castle was pretty far distance , so we neither did we get any decent photos ,nor any break. There was over emphasis on ordering food from a vendor , rather than exploring Portree. The highlight of this tour was definitely the fairy pools , which despite the rainy weather was an adventure worth remembering, though it was quite a strenuous hike. All my stars are purely for the most amazing guide, perhaps one of the best story tellers I have met in my numerous tours around UK - Mirtle ( Mr. Fabulous) , who spoke so many tales of history of Scotland , from his father and folk tales and fossils all throughout the journey , that I would take a trip just to listen to it all.
