Eilean Donan Castle
Our first stop is at the iconic Eilean Donan Castle. This castle is instantly recognisable the world-over as it has featured in many films and innumerable Scottish souvenirs! We will stop at our favourite vantage point here to enable you to take some photos and admire the majestic beauty of this iconic sight in its wonderful coastal location. Please note that there will NOT be an opportunity to visit the castle.
Portree
Upon arrival in Portree your guide will point you in the direction of the harbour viewpoint; from here you can admire the pretty pastel-coloured houses that the town is famous for. With its quirky shops, cute cafes, picturesque location and interesting sights you will certainly find plenty to occupy you during our 45 minute stop here. This will be your opportunity to purchase lunch from one of the town's bakeries or yummy takeaways.

Had a wonderful day trip to the Isle of Skye. Our driver cum guide Andrew was simply fantastic. He shared his vast knowledge of Scottish history, geological fact interspersed with some really funny and hilarious anecdotes. The meal from Lisa was also wholesome and delicious. Luvd the whole experience. Just wish that the tour could spend a little more time at the castles for us to immerse in the rich heritage and not do just photo stops.

A wonderful tour and experience. The bus was extremely comfortable and the 12 hour tour was exciting, scenic, and full of stories. We were given ample time and each stop and even had a couple of bonus stops. Our tour guide, Andrew, was superb! He was full on fun stories, facts and jokes. Absolutely made the tour! We also enjoyed a delicious lunch from the Skye baking company! Thank you for a great tour!

Seats are tight. I’m only 5’10”, 200lb male and was uncomfortable all 8 hours riding. Both knees firmly into the seat in front of me. The window seat is worse. Remove a row of seats and give everybody 3” more leg space. With all the rain, bring a towel or something because there is nothing to dry anything with if you get wet. The scenery and stops were fantastic. Story telling guide was terrific and made up for a lot of the above.
