What To Expect

Embark on a journey through the scenic mountains and picturesque countryside of Puerto Rico as we explore one of the most remote corners of Bayamón. Depending on the group size, we’ll travel in a passenger van or private vehicles, making our way to this secret location, just 40-50 minutes from San Juan, where we'll meet in the morning. This trail is a well-kept secret, known only to the most adventurous people who dare to venture into this far corner of Bayamón. The hike to the main waterfall takes approximately 40-60 minutes, depending on your fitness level, and promises a true adventure. You’ll climb over trees, jump across streams, and traverse fallen logs. Upon reaching the stunning waterfall, you’ll have plenty of time to explore, capture photos, and swim in the crystal-clear waters. Afterward, we’ll return to San Juan, leaving you with unforgettable memories of your Puerto Rican adventure.

Abdiel was the best. We had a great time. We always felt safe. Our group consisted of a 77, 55, 52, 17, and 13 year-old. It was not an easy hike, but it wasn’t hard. The path was uneven, so you had to be sure to watch where you were walking. If you felt comfortable, you could go all the way up to the pool right under the waterfall, but the rocks were very slippery and you did not need to do that to get a good picture. The pick up was great right by the supermarket and transportation was comfortable. Abdiel was very familiar with the environment and Puerto Rico. He gave us a great restaurant to eat at and gave a great tour. I would highly recommend this company.

First, our tour guide Abdiel is the best! There were 5 of us—some pushing 50 others 50ish, and some nearing 60, and he was patient and tremendously helpful on slippery rocks! It was a great hike! And the waterfall is beautiful! The pool is VERY cool—but you must go in! Abdiel also shared information on PR wildlife, the area, and stopped at a great bakery before the adventure! He is incredibly personable and helped us without any impatience and enjoy led he experience with us! I am so happy we did this! And when in PR will do another Geoadventure with Abdiel!

It was a great experience. Make sure you wear the right footwear. We felt safe with our tour guide, Abdiel. He knew exactly where to step as you are moving through the forest. Thank s for the great experience!

The hike was super amazing!! From the beginning to the end, my friend and I had a lot of fun. We also gained a lot of knowledge on certain history of Puerto Rico and its culture. The waterfall was splendid!!10/10 would recommend and would use the services again!!

Juan and Abdiel were amazing!! They take the time to make sure everyone gets across the rocks and help you if the course is difficult. I'd say the trail is intermediate difficulty. Can be slippery and muddy in some areas. The view is beautiful!
Fantastic! This is the second excursion I’ve done with Geoadventures. I have absolutely loved both!

Geo took me and my girlfriend to this awesome waterfall we saw a SNAKE (so cool) and he taught us about alot of flowers and the changes of the river. He stops by a bakery before so you can grab a water or sandwhich you can even eat at the waterfall thats what we did! *just pick up after yourselves* and remember to bring clothes and a towel extra to leave in the car because you definetly wanna swim in the water fall! Going Under the waterfall was so cool! I have never seen a waterfall before and this looked like a samurai would pray under it!

Abdiel was the absolute best tour guide ever. He held my hand (physically and mentally) throughout all the challenging parts. He took amazing pictures of me and my friends. The waterfall was amazing and we got to swim in it which was so relaxing. We had so much fun, best day and tour ever!
