This is not a normal walking tour. Instead of meeting someone that simply talks to you about Belfast's past, you will instead learn about Belfast's rich history through five street theatre sketches. After each sketch, one actor will become a tour guide and tell you more about Belfast's history, as the other actor gets changed into their next costume. Below, are the five sketches included:
1912 The Titanic
1914 The Ulster Suffragettes
1941 The Belfast Blitz
1995 President Clinton's visit
2018 Game of Thrones
This way, the one-hour tour will be completely seamless for those enjoying this theatrical spectacle along the stunning Maritime Mile.
Real historical artefacts will also be used during the tour, allowing participants to see a real WW2 gas mask as well as a gas rattle and an ARP brodie helmet.
