Solo older female traveler. Tour began with a visit to a black sand beach looking out towards the Westmann Islands. The drive up Þórsmörk valley in the super jeep was exciting. Enjoyed the time to wander and to enjoy the valley views.

Great experience Alexandro (guide) was warm, professional, welcoming, and adapted to the requests and the requirements of the group. The views are exceptional - its experiencing Iceland's rough and beautiful nature at its best. The only disappointing fact was the late departure due to a vehicle which was not checked properly prior to the excursion (which could have and should have been prevented), but was replaced within a half an hour, and did not have a negative effect on the experience and the day as a whole. Thank you Midgard !

Anyone who has visited the Westfjords or northern Iceland before will find this tour rather boring. There are considerably more beautiful areas on Iceland than those on this tour. The river crossings are quite exciting but our guide (Alessandro) hardly talked, most of the time we were silently in the jeep for 7. Although the sun was shining, we only visited places in the shade. I can not recommend Pörsmörk overall. At least not for that price. Alternatively, you can take the rental car to the first parking lot before the river crossings and from there make a free hike.

I am recently widowed and needed to get out of the USA for a bit to clear my head, so I decided to check Iceland off my bucket list as it has been a life long dream. As a Jeep driver, I felt that a superjeep tour simply made sense as part of my trip. Anna was the guide I had, and she was a delight. I loved hearing about her life in Iceland, being a guide, and all the fun Iceland facts. Would recommend to anyone and everyone. Worth every penny. Book a tour.

We thoroughly enjoyed our super jeep tour with Midgard! It was a highlight of our trip.to Iceland. Our guide, Carlos, made the experience more special with his insight into the history and culture of the country and his sense of humor. We saw so much and got to experience part of Iceland we would never have had the chance to in a rental car!! Highly recommend!! Expensive but worth it!!

We stayed at Midgard for four nights with our two teens, ages 19 and 15. We all agreed it was the best hotel we stayed at in Iceland and would highly recommend it! The staff were very nice and helpful, the atmosphere was fun and comfortable, and the food at the restaurant was delicious. Rooms were very basic but clean (we had two private rooms with attached bathrooms). I particularly loved sitting out back with a drink at the end of the day (Gina's drinks are the best) and watching the horses do their thing. We did a private Super Jeep Tour on our last day with Sven and it was amazing. The hot tub is great, too - nice view!

Ollie was a great guide! He knew just the right amount of information to share to be enjoyable yet have a relaxed time. The weather was perfect, the scenery beautiful and getting to see all that Iceland has to offer from someone who has lived there all his life was great.
