The three day adventure tour to Kakheti region offers unforgettable hikes with some breathtaking views of the Caucasus. The first day of the tour is reserved for a hike in David Gareja area, overlooking the beautiful Georgian Rainbow mountains. The path during the hike leads to the Udabno monastery & Azerbaijani border. The second day of the tour is dedicated to Vashlovani National Park. The park is famous for its rare wildlife including Caucasus’ leopards & antilopes. The views & landscapes are truly one of the most beautiful in the country, with various hikes available for different levels of expertise. The third day of tour takes us to the Lagodekhi National Park, where the hike one way takes two hours to reach. The final destination opens out onto a stunning view of the the 20-meter high waterfall where guests can swim as well. At the end of the hike, the guests will be able to return to Tbilisi directly from the National park.

David Gareja Monastery
First day of the tour allows guests the opportunity to hike to one of the most beautiful monastery complexes in Georgia with fabulous views, that is located 90km outside of Tbilisi on the border with Azerbaijan. The monastery stands on top of a hill and offers sweeping landscapes that somewhat resemble the African Safari, although minus any lions or hyenas. The tour to David Gareja/Rainbow Mountains is a mix of culture and adventure offering both an opportunity to see the monastery and walk through its maze-like cells but also to climb up to the hill and view the border with Azerbaijan. At first guests will visit Lavra which can easily be reached by a four wheel drive however in order to get to Udabno monastery, it is necessary to hike just under one hour. The hike is considered fairly easy(depending on fitness level of course) with several opportunities for photos where you can pose in front of the Georgian rainbow mountains. The nature and the picturesque surroundings make it worth the one hour of physical effort. On finishing the hike, the tour will continue to a local winery where guests will have a chance to try one of our famous Georgian wines and food specialties. After lunch the tour will leave for Sighnaghi for two overnight stays in a cozy family owned guesthouse.

Lagodekhi National Reserve
The third day of tour takes us to the Lagodekhi National Park, where the hike one way takes two hours to reach. The final destination opens out onto a stunning view of the the 20-meter high waterfall. Dependent upon the weather conditions, it may be possible to swim at the waterfall. At the end of the hike after lunch, the guests will be able to return to Tbilisi directly from the National park.
