It is the customer’s responsibility to know basic English in order to understand the instructions. If the customer does not understand any of the instructions, Wild Nordic shall reserve the right to refuse the customer ́s participation based on safety concerns and necessity to communicate in English during any emergency situation.
No refund of the tours will be made if the customer misses the pick up services as a result of failing to wait at the designated pick-up area. Wild Nordic has the right to charge reasonable expenses arising from such neglect to follow the timetable of the program.
The driver of a snowmobile has to be at least 18 years old and hold a valid B (car) driver’s license.
The driving license must be valid in EU countries. Customers shall bring their valid driving licenses for participating in snowmobile driving. Driving licence should be physically present and written in Roman letters. No electronic versions allowed.
The driver of the vehicle is held liable for damages caused to the vehicle. This self-risk amount is a flat-rate of EUR 900 per driver/snowmobile /accident case, without exception or regards to the extent of the damage. If the customer purchases insurance from Wild Nordic for EUR20 (subject to change as advised by Wild Nordic), then the maximum liability of the customer shall be reduced to EUR200 per person. We cannot accept any liability for personal injury or material damage arising out of an accident during any other excursions which do not involve snowmobiling.
Customers are highly encouraged to purchase personal travel insurance (which covers insurance for the activities to be participated);
If a customer suffers from illness or disabilities (such as heart disease, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, back or hip problems) that could affect his/her ability to take part in the activities or that she is pregnant, he/she shall prior to participating in the activities consult medical experts as to his/her suitability to participate in the activities. The customer shall acknowledge that he/she participate in the activities to be offered in the Services at his/her own risk in the case that he/she suffers from such illness or disability or pregnancy.
If a customer is recovering from any illness or the effects of alcohol and/or drug consumption or have recently had any major illnesses or surgery, Wild Nordic shall reserve the right to refuse the customer ́s participation based on safety concerns.
Wild Nordic shall not be responsible for any valuables of the customers left in the public area while participating in the activities.
Snowmobiles have 2 seats and all adults will be sharing snowmobiles unless booked as single drivers

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
What To Expect
This safari is all about driving a snowmobile and we’ve minimized the amount of stops to keep you moving as much as possible. The tour is for adults only - no sledge is pulled along on this safari to avoid it slowing down. Drive a shared 2 seater snowmobile or purchase a single driving for a more thrilling experience! We will first provide you with the thermal overall and driving instructions and then you will be driving for approximately 2.5 hours.

5.00I really enjoyed the adults only snowmobiling tour. It was great having a small group and we spent almost 3 hours out on the snowmobiles. George and Axel were great tour guides. We stopped a few times so they could check on everyone. It was -30C outside so they advised we wear all the clothes we brought and their overalls. It was perfect because I didn’t get cold at all. The city pickup was easy and the entire team was friendly. I highly recommend Wild Nordic and also recommend the 3 hour adults only tour. I did the 1 hour a few years ago and it was good, but I wanted more time. The adults only thrill tour was long enough we were able to get out of the lake and river which are more fun than snowmobiling through the trees.

5.00Our experience snowmobiling was absolutely incredible! Our guide was not only knowledgeable with the area, having lived there his entire life, but he took us to some amazing spots for pictures. He even brought some warm berry juice for us to have at one of the spots overlooking the frozen river. I will absolutely make this a regular experience every time I come to Rovaniemi.

5.00I wanted to see what it was like to ride one of these machines as if I owned one. This tour didn't disappoint; the guide took us on some good routes with good views and through forests. We went briskly across the frozen river as fast as you're willing to go. The equipment provided was also excellent.

He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel safe and confident while still keeping it fun and exciting. The scenery was stunning, the ride was well organised, and Jan’s enthusiasm really made the whole experience memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and would highly recommend this tour, especially with Jan leading the way.

1.00Unfortunately, due to extremely bad weather, our taxi couldn’t make it, and a second attempt also failed. We contacted Wild Nordic immediately, but there was no option to reschedule the trip or receive a (partial) refund. Understandably, they couldn’t wait, but some flexibility or an alternative solution would have been appropriate. To make matters worse, we were still asked to pay for a €3 bottle of water. Very disappointing, no sense of customer service. We will not be booking here again.

5.00I was looking for an adrenaline experience to share with my friend, who is passionate about motocross, so I decided to book a 3-hour snowmobiling tour for adults only. It turned out to be much more exciting than I could have ever expected: breathtaking views, comfortable group dynamics, and a complex of tracks that would make you experience different driving styles. Adrian, our guide, was always super focused on our needs and requests. He gave concise and clear driving instructions and during the trickiest parts of the tour, reminded us about all the safety measures to respect. He made us feel safe and he would always show and share his enthusiasm with us. Ask about him if you happen to book with Wild Nordic :)
