The newly revamped Changi Chapel and Museum (CCM) presents new content and artefacts in an intimate, engaging format that tells the story of the prisoners of war and civilians interned at Changi prison camp during the Japanese Occupation. Its narrative is centred on remembrance and reflection, inviting visitors to contemplate the hardships endured by the internees, while honouring their courage, resilience, and unwavering spirit in the face of adversity.

Operating hours: Tuesdays to Sundays, 9:30am to 5:30pm, last admission at 5:00pm. Closed on Mondays except public holidays.
Museum is wheelchair and stroller accessible; limited manual wheelchairs available.
Exhibition captions available in large font in English, Chinese, Malay, Tamil, and Japanese via mobile interactive platform.
Children 6 years and below enter all galleries free.
Special access concession fees apply to persons with disabilities; one accompanying caregiver enters free.

Concession admission fees apply to non-Citizen and non-Permanent Resident students and staff from the following types of schools in Singapore:

Great to honour our POW’s in Changi

5.00There is a guided tour at 11am daily for $10 I had Andrea who was very informative & honouring of the POW’s but also made the tour interesting with personal stories mixed in with the facts so highly recommend. You can write a personal message to leave on the chapel wall & there is a cafe/toilet next door

5.00Very informative exhibition. Relaxed and at own pace. Lots of interactive exhibits and historical items related to the armed forces stationed and held there. Good interactive search engine at the end where you can look up people and their records. Some records incomplete but still worth looking at.

5.00I wasn't sure what to expect, but I loved the positive way they told the prisoners story. Very moving see the hand made crucifix, and other small possessions which survived. Very helpful friendly staff too.
