The paddle to Tiritiri is an awesome day out. As you paddle along the cliffs of Whangaparaoa the island gets closer and closer. You come into the island over crystal clear water and land on a white sandy beach edged with bush. A beautiful spot for lunch before exploring the island tracks. The bush walk going up to the lighthouse is filled with bird song and the views from the top are amazing. It’s fantastic that a kayak can get you to this special place!
