We went on a snow scooter safari to the Ice Hotel, and the ride was wonderful. We traveled through the woods, stopped to see reindeer, and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. Visiting the Ice Hotel was a unique experience, and we had salmon grilled over an open fire for lunch. Afterward, we took a more challenging route back, which was a lot of fun, and stopped on a hill to watch the sunset and take photos. Our guides, Rob and Killian, did an outstanding job. They were a lot of fun to be around while also being very responsible and professional. It was extremely cold (around -30°C), and they checked on us frequently to make sure everyone was okay and not feeling cold or showing signs of hypothermia. They made us feel safe and confident that we were in very capable hands. On top of that, we shared many laughs with them, and they even took photos with us as a keepsake. I would totally recommend this safari and if you get Rob and Killian as your guides, you’re truly lucky.

Modern hotel, perhaps too much, of the Gargallo chain. We were a group of forty people from an organized trip. Good rooms, absolute silence, towels and sheets in half use, modern bathroom - It suffers from the same habit of modern hotels. It has no drawers... and, at least, I miss them. Breakfast and food, buffet, medium-low quality (the basement there is another dining room where there is better quality...)

Safartica is an extremely professional company with excellent equipment and the most incredible guides. For this tour, they provide everything from overalls to boots including socks, and balaclava. You just need to show up and they take care of you. We were a group of 11 and had 2 guides Alessandro and Valentina. Both were very knowledgeable, caring and friendly. I want to especially thank Alessandro - my wife was a solo driver and for some reason her snowmobile wasn't going as fast as others even with full throttle. But he was so sweet that he stayed back with her, didn't rush her at all and made sure to keep looking out for her the whole way. Without him she would have been lost!

We had a wonderful trip with Alexi. 70 km rides with snowmobile through beautiful scenery, we saw some wild reindeer. The stop at the ice hotel is also very nice you get to see all the rooms and you get a nice lunch with dessert in a beautiful restaurant. Don’t hesitate, amazing company

We took a shot in the dark with this one, as it didn't have many reviews but we can say with ABSOLUTE confidence that this was our best experience in Finland. We won't cover the full itinerary but you travel over 70km through the beautiful landscapes and frozen forests of Lapland over 6-ish hours, with plenty of breaks for fantastic photos. Certainly recommend this for every level from entry to experienced (it was our first time on snowmobiles). It gives every single thrill with the occasional challenge - from weaving turns, to steep and winding routes. Half way through, you get to explore the man-made ice hotel which was very interesting, but best of all you get a hot drink and a full meal with a desert, which was top class. They provide all the kit, the only things we would suggest - take your own thick gloves and layers it feels a LOT colder when driving, especially if sat in the passenger seat. Aleksi and Mr Koivu (I think that's his name! Birch?!) were our instructors and were absolutely brilliant in covering the fundamentals and making sure you were safe at all times.

Snowmobile safari was on my husband bucket list and we reviewed carfully each and every company before deciding for Safartica tour combining not one exciting attraction but 3 (ride + hotel + dinner). But from beginning. We were picked from Santa Clause village and taken to the Rovaniemi city center office. We collected our equipment, bought extra insurance (think it was good to have), walked to the river side where we got proper instructions from our guide Hugo. We were in a group of 9 (5 snowmobiles) which was really good size (maybe we were lucky). We drove to the hotel with max speed of 40km/h. Snow hotel is a unique place. I really did not think it would impress me that much. Lappish dinner in Kota was another special experience. Salmon portions were good size and soo tasty. On the way back we were allowed to drive 70km/h. Summarising only positive feedback: + guide Hugo 11/10 - knowledgable and friendly + total 80km ride 9/10 - snow conditions made it a bit bumpy ride (should not blame organisers about weather conditions, it was beatuful sunny day) + snow hotel 10/10 - suprisingly exciting attraction + lappish dinner in Kota 11/10 yammy + nice and well organised group 10/10 Thank you Hugo and Safartica!

We had a fantastic day with Martin: wonderful snowmobile ride, had time to make the most exclusive snowman along the way, ate the most delicious salmon ever, had a very nice tour of the unforgettable snow hotel and also made magical snow angels on the way back. All this under the super guidance of Martin who gave us time in the most beautiful places to capture this unforgettable adventure on photo.

Contemptuous staff member who took great satisfaction in telling us we missed our safari! Hands up! We missed the “meeting time” by 20 minutes as totally underestimated travel time from house (should have added 20 minutes to Google maps to allow for snowy side roads). Our fault. But having paid the company €1200 for our trip for our party of 6, we asked had we any other options! Were very coldly told by the very stone faced staff member “no” - “next time check meet time”. And even though it was 10.03 am and official leave time of safari was 10 am she told us our snow mobiles had already been allocated to someone else. Fair enough. But what about the ice hotel part of the tour? We had a car so could drive there. No - there was no way to facilitate us. She wanted us to leave the office - €1,200 down the drain. It was only when we insisted that she check with someone else that she did so - reluctantly. Another gentleman returned and handed us contact details for the tour guide and a meet time at the ice hotel. I get it that it is very frustrating when people are late. But the absolute lack of understanding and unwillingness to help us find a solution and retrieve something for our €1200 was jaw-dropping. We did enjoy the ice hotel and one of our party did manage to return on an snow mobile as 2 others from the group (who were on time!) opted to travel back with us by car to Rovaniemi. I would not recommend this company.
