  An absolutely fabulous and unforgettable snorkelling excursion! We had the chance to admire manta rays, leopard rays, sharks and many other underwater wonders. A truly breathtaking sight. Captain Didi was an exceptional host and a remarkable guide in the water. An experience I recommend without hesitation!

  The young man who was our captain, tour guide, and snorkel guide was awesome. He was patient and kind. We saw so many colorful fish, rays and sharks. And he took us everywhere on the lagoon, especially to a motu we'd wanted to walk on for 40 years. Such a delight.

  Couldn’t be more awesome, captain Didi showed us a lot of spots, we saw sharks, stingrays, and all kinds of fish, you simply couldn’t expect more, and he is a real pro photographer too!

  We had Randy as our captain and he was the best! We went to see manta rays, a beautiful coral reef, we swam with sharks and sting rays and went around the island. We played fun music, he towed our kids on the floaty and it was the best time! I highly recommend this tour, it was our best day in this trip because we got a super cool boat captain and awesome sites.

  We had such a great experience with Toa Boat and Timmi 3 years ago, we booked again for our return to Bora Bora! There are a ton of less expensive vendors, but this company is totally worth the premium price. The pontoon boat has shade, super comfortable cushioned seating, a smooth ride and only your private group; no hard shell boat with 20 people, no choppy speed boat ride. If you have 6 or 8 people, the cost is similar to the other companies. We had 4 of us so it was a bit more pp, but 100% worth it. It was the highlight of our trip to French Polynesia both times! Toa Boat shines with the ability to take you where you want to go, not just to predetermined vendor stops. We were able to make 5 stops around the island during our 4 hour tour. It is a private experience, not a group tour. I asked if we could try to see a manta ray. Timmi said it was my "lucky day" as there were 2 or three in the lagoon that morning. He took us right to them and they were spectacular! We then went to see the eagle rays which was super cool. Next, he took us to the sharks and rays stop which is always fun. Later, we went by the fancy resorts on the Motu and stopped to see some anemone so we could find "Nemo". Lastly, Timmi took us to the coral garden, but there were too many boats so instead we went to the coral garden further out past the airport. The coral, bright colored clams and fish were amazing as I'd remembered! It's really nice to have the ability to avoid the crowds. It's a bonus to not have to wait for a group of 16-20 people to get into the water and back on the boat at each stop. It is much better to be able to see and do more on a private boat. I don't know about provided snorkelling equipment, as we came from a cruise ship with our own. We were offered water, juice, and a few sodas at the beginning of our trip. After our final stop, Timmi cut up some fresh fruit and showed us how to open and shred coconut. This is the same snack we had last time and it is refreshing. Timmi is very friendly, quick to laugh, and shares a lot of information about Bora Bora. We loved him so much the first time, we requested him again and we are so glad he was available. He gets in the water with you at every stop and guides you to the best views of the sea life and through the gorgeous maze of the coral garden. He even played us a few tunes on the ukulele. A few tips: *The company advertises they can pull a tube in the water behind the boat if you'd like to ride it. Their ad clearly states that you need to request it ahead of time if you'd like to use it. We didn't ask as we are in our 60's and 70's and were snorkel focused, but it would be fun! Be sure to request it or don't expect it to be available. *There is a hitch on the back of the pontoon. We had no issue last time, but this time my BIL and husband both managed to hit the hitch getting into the water. My husband really hurt his tailbone so be sure to avoid the hitch and follow Timmi's directions to slide into the water. *We booked the Moana experience which includes non-alcoholic beverages and a fruit snack. If you want lunch or alcoholic beverages, Toa Boat can provide that too, but you need to book the appropriate experience if that's what you'd like. If we have the good fortune of finding ourselves in Bora Bora again, and we hope to, we will certainly book an excursion with Toa Boat!

  My Wife and I booked this as a private charter, our Captain Randy was fantastic, he took us to see Eagle Rays, then we went to see the Black tip sharks and sting rays followed up by a trip to the coral garden. If that wasn’t enough we went and relaxed on a pristine shallow beach with Bora Bora as the back drop. An amazing day!

  Best part of our trip . Our guide Maui was excellent. We went to several great snorkeling spots. Would definitely book this excursion again.

  It was a great trip around the island - guide was great! What was NOT great is that we asked twice if alcohol was as included since we were getting conflicting info. We did not bring any because they’ve said it was included. It was not. They also only brought 5 sets of flippers for 6 people. The snacks and sodas that WERE included was only enough for 3 people. I have given feedback twice and they could care less

  The platoon Boat was nice and comfortable, but for $1,000 a few amenities would have been appreciated. No snacks, etc bananas, cokes and some juices. We brought some Rum but they provided no cups or ice, fyi. Never saw any floaties or water toys.
