Lillian was an excellent guide. She met me at my hotel in Shinjuku and laid out a path to see as much as possible over the time period. We had a chance to see a few temples and even check out the Unicorn Gundam before it leaves in August. She was very knowledgeable and provided me with a lot of information about each site we saw and some historical details. She also has been excellent on helping me navigate the subway. All in all it was a great experience and I got to see quite a bit of Tokyo.

We booked this last minute and met up with Vivienne without too many ideas of activities. We gave her some broad ideas and she tailored a really good 6 hour walking and train tour to different sites around Tokyo. We would not have had a clue how to navigate without her! We avoided the temptation of big malls, opting for local areas and felt immersed in day to day life. Vivienne then delivered us back to the cruise ship shuttle on time. Japanese bbq lunch was very nice too. Thank you Vivienne, you were very knowledgeable and informative

Not sure how Vivian became my guide but she turned out to be exceptional. She is from Australia but is fluent in Japanese and often serves as an interpreter. Vivian was very helpful in learning about the Japanese culture, its history and nuances. She helped bring the Tokyo/Japanese experience to life in a most amazing way. She is energetic, smart and knowledgeable. She guided me to the significant sights and helped me gain an understanding of the Japanese culture and especially the role of religion. With her help, I was able to figure out the train system and after the tour, she followed up with recommendations for other sites, best places to shop, eat and see while in this amazing city. She definitely is very good at her job and I would highly recommend her for anyone visiting Tokyo for the first time.

We had a fantastic tour with our guide Sumire! She reached out to us before our tour and asked what we wanted to see. Not only did we see everything on our list including Shimbuya Scramble Crossing, Meiji Jingu Shrine and Senso-ji Temple but she showed us many of her favorite places that made our visit extra special. We especially enjoyed our unplanned stops at Santa Monica’s Crepes on Takeshita Street and The Flagship Fender Store in Harajuku. Having lived and worked in the Netherlands, her fluency in English was very impressive. Communication with her as easy and flawless. Sumire was patient, informative and we did not feel rushed. We truly enjoyed her company and her showing us her beautiful city of Tokyo.

We booked our tour with Nao following a recommendation from a friend. She met us at our hotel to start our tour. We knew it was a walking tour and wow did we walk! Nao’s knowledge of the area was amazing and how she navigated the trains system was nothing more than outstanding! It was our first visit to Tokyo’s and we had a great few hours. This was our itinerary ① Asakusa (Sensoji temple and Nakamise Street) ② Akihabara (city highlights) ③ Shinjuku (Godzilla statue, Golden Gai Street and Omoide Yokocho Street) ④ Tokyo Metropolitan Office ⑤ Harajuku (Meiji Jingu shrine and Takeshita street) We had lunch at the restaurant in MeijiJingu shrine area, delicious. My advice would be to make sure you take plenty of water, wear very comfortable shoes and have plenty of change for the trains. Thank you Nao for a wonderful experience
