Good selection of sights and locations with excellent views of Mt Fuji. Mits is a knowledgeable guide and friendly host. Her English is very good, and she shared several words and phrases in Japanese for the group to learn. I really enjoyed the recreated village - I would have liked another 30 minutes to explore there and to visit the artisans’ shops. The lake visit was restful after a tasty lunch. Try the shabu shabu for an interactive meal! I skipped the shops at Oisei Park and wandered through the new garden down to the water’s edge. Very proud of myself for the hike up the hill to the memorial pagoda - I chose not to climb the 400 steps! The winding path up the hill is still very steep with hairpin turns, but good shade and views of the mountain. It was about a 2 hour ride back to town on a Sunday evening. Highly recommend this trip for visitors who want a break from the city!

First I bow to Mt.Fuji for its spiritual healing powers. For almost $100 Cdn ,this excursion was well worth it. The hostess ( mitz) was very kind and explained all the landmarks on the way. The bus ride was smooth and sweet. We caught the bus at Shingawa and location was easy to find As a tourist, If I had to do this on my own, I would have been completely lost. They took us to 4 different spots ( including the restaurant for lunch) to get the best view of Mt. Fuji. The restaurant ambience was amazing. Very quiet, neat and clean place. I had ordered vegetarian and I'd give lunch 3 out of 5 due to the lack of flavor. It was very bland, but I was hungry...lol We were dropped off back at Shinkuju which was nice coz we were then able to explore an evening on the streets. Mt. Fuji was spectacular today. Overall, very good experience in a comfort zone.

A perfect tour around Mount Fuji. We were so lucky to see Mount Fuji so clearly! Chen was a great tour guide, she spoke perfect English and Chinese so everyone could have a great experience. If you're looking for a tour that will drop you off at key view points, and give you the freedom to roam around as you wish, this is perfect. At one stop we were able to rent a bike for an hour and cycle around Lake Kawaguchiko which was super special. We had a wonderful tour and it was a day to remember. Don't skip the best view we've ever seen at the last stop in one of the houses that sold art!!! Thank you Chen and company.

The reason for my 2 stars is the customer service I received after my tour. My tour was cancelled halfway through due to weather. We actually were unable to see anything the whole morning too but with roads closing the tour had to end. Since my tour never completed I would have expected at least a partial refund. This is especially frustrating because the tour could have just been cancelled instead of attempting to make it work.

The paid tour was great. The locations were wonderful and the views are outstanding. The ride there is also very scenic. The only thing that this tour doesn’t really cover is much of the culture and history with only the last stop covering some parts. Other than that, this tour is great for those who would like scenic views, decent food, and a nice peek at the history and culture.
