Explore the Scenic Beauty and Historic Landmarks Around Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi on a Bus Tour from Tokyo
Arakurayama Sengen Park, where you’ll climb to a vantage point with breathtaking views of the iconic five-tiered pagoda against the backdrop of Mt. Fuji. This picturesque spot is ideal for photos, showcasing the perfect harmony of traditional architecture and nature. It's also famous for its magnificent views during the cherry blossom season in early spring.
Next, Kawaguchiko Craft Park by the serene Lake Kawaguchi. Enjoy a delicious lunch (optional choices include Wagyu steak, Houtou noodles, Vegan Curry Rice or Kobe Beef Hot Pot) before strolling along the lakeshore, where Mt. Fuji’s reflection creates a peaceful scene.
Continue to Oishi Park, known for its seasonal flowers and stunning views of the lake. Finally, visit Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nenba, a traditional village by Lake Saiko, where you can explore preserved thatched-roof houses and experience Japan’s rural culture.

The tour schedule may change without prior notice due to weather, road traffic conditions, and other unforeseen reasons. (There might be delays in returning to the designated location.) The duration of transfers are approximate, the exact duration will depend on the time of day and traffic conditions.
Infants under 3 years old are free of charge without seat. If a seat is required, please book under the child's price.
Regarding luggage, we allow one piece of luggage per person during the excursion. Please also ensure that the luggage is manageable and fits comfortably within our vehicle. (The maximum size for luggage stored in the trunk should not exceed a total of 155cm- combined height, width, and depth.) Please also be aware that any items stored in the trunk will not be accessible in between stops on the tour, so keep all valuables with you.
Note: Visibility of Mt. Fuji cannot be guaranteed, as it is dependent on weather conditions which are beyond our control. Please also be aware that reaching the viewing platform next to Chureito Pagoda requires some climbing of stairs.
This tour will depart regardless of weather or traffic conditions, unless you are notified otherwise by the local operator. Trip Advisor / Viator and your local tour operator will not be responsible for itinerary changes due to unforeseen circumstances.
In November, the tour itinerary will slightly change to make sure you have the best experience of Japanese autumn in the Mt. Fuji area! After visiting Lake Kawaguchi Craft Park, we will move on to one of the lake’s best spots for foliage, a colorful corridor of more than 400 maple trees creating a unique fall atmosphere!
Please refrain from booking any time-sensitive activities such as restaurant reservations, cruise ship departures, or other scheduled commitments immediately following your tour.
Depending on the number of participants, English and Chinese commentary might be given on the same bus.
Our guide will be holding the flag shown in the picture at the meeting location.
Please arrive 10 minutes before departure at your selected meeting point, as your assigned bus & guide will be based on that specific location. The guide has a list of participants for each bus & may not be able to accommodate guests who arrive at a different meeting point. Late arrival or arrival at the wrong location will result in missing the tour, & refunds won't be issued. If you'd like to change your meeting point or are unsure about the meeting point, please notify us at least 2 days before departure for assistance.
The bus will be departing on time (no exceptions).
Please adhere to the scheduled time. We are unable to accommodate delays or wait for any reason. The tour will depart promptly as scheduled to respect all customers' time.
In case of late arrival or arrival at wrong location, regardless of contact prior to the departure time, refunds will not be granted.

Upon arrival, please confirm your name with the guide or staff on the participant list.
The only drop-off location available is Shinjuku (Shinjuku Station West Exit)

Kobe beef is served Shabu-shabu style (thinly sliced and lightly boiled in a pot), while Koshu Wine Beef is served as a steak. Please choose your favorite.

Arakurayama Sengen Park
Arakurayama Sengen Park is a park in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, famous for the iconic Chureito Pagoda, which offers panoramic views of Mount Fuji, the pagoda, and cherry blossoms in spring. To reach the pagoda and observation deck, visitors must climb a total of 398 steps. The park also includes the Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine and provides year-round views, with spring being particularly popular for its cherry blossoms.

1.00My friends and I were very disappointed because we were left by the bus. We were all seniors ages 69, 73 and 75. We got there at 1040AM and the tour guide told us to meet back at 1120 at the meeting place with the bus leaving at 1130. It was our first time and there were so many people. The tour guide should have told us not to go far up the stairs. We went down as fast as we can but since we're not young and with so many people it was harder for us, though we got to the entrance before 1130. The tour guide should have waited for us in the meeting place not by the bus stop. The bus stop was at least 20 minutes away from the entrance of the site. This was a very disorganized tour. We should have used some form of gadget like wisper, audio, or Vox so we can follow the leader. Also, the first half of the group including us left to start walking to the site and she left us there so she can get the other half. Very disorganized. At the end, we walked going to the bus stop hoping we can catch it but it was hard because the route she took us from the bus to the site was like a short cut not the main road. We were able to reach the bus stop with the help of other tourists but the bus was gone. We got lucky to be able to go back to Tokyo with the help of this other tour lady. I strongly expect that you will reimburse us of our expenses. It was the hardest day of our vacation in Japan.

Pickup was easy, the bus ride was comfortable, and we got to visit so many beautiful spots with spectacular views of majestic Fuji San, especially with today’s bright sunny weather. 5.005 hours of traffic to get there and return. Still a glorious tour of Mt Fuji and surrounding places. Weather was great so couldn’t have gotten pictures any better than what we took. Lake stops were beautiful and even lunch was wonderful. Touring typical Japan village an added delight. Bumper to bumper traffic going home but the whole day trip was worth it.

5.00This was a great way to see a few sites in Tokyo, don’t have to worry about which train to take and the bus doesn’t make stops. The tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable (forgot her name). The best part was walking into the restaurant and the meal was already set out, waiting for us! Overall, we liked the tour, but unfortunately, it was raining, so not much views of Mt Fuji!

5.00This was the most wonderful experience we ever had, I travelled with my husband and my 12 month old baby. Was able to see beautiful mountains Fuji in all different directions in all Kinds of locations. Our tour guide Lucy and the drivers were just wonderful. You should really try the lunch package. Worth every penny. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone❤️

4.00The tour guide was kind, friendly and provided valuable assistance. However, our tour guide’s Japanese accent hindered our comprehension of the explanations regarding various destinations. It is not permitted to remain on the bus at certain destinations if you just wanted to relax. There was heavy traffic and Consequently, we were unable to visit some of the destinations listed on the itinerary. Despite these challenges, the driver demonstrated commendable skill in navigating the bus and ensuring our safe arrival and departure.

3.00The traffic to and from MT Fuji was the worst I have ever experienced in my 78 years. It took us 3 hours to go about 55 miles both ways. Also, the operators did not return us to the same location where they met us at the beginning. We had no idea where we were in relation to our hotel in the dark. The mountain was worth seeing. The clouds did clear away before we arrived.
