I had an incredible experience doing a private bike tour with Ono Wheels in Tokyo. The brothers, Kentaro and Kotaro, are truly awesome. They are very friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming from beginning to end. I am an avid cyclist, and this was honestly a really fun and eye opening experience for me. I am from Guam, so I have never really experienced cycling in a large and busy city like Tokyo. Riding through a major city gave me a whole new perspective on how to navigate traffic, heavy pedestrian areas, and busy intersections. It was exciting, challenging in a good way, and very rewarding. Kentaro, the older brother, was my tour guide and did an amazing job. We rode through many of Tokyo’s most iconic spots, including Tokyo Tower, the Tokyo Olympic area, Tokyo Station, and several other neighborhoods. One of the highlights was crossing Shibuya Crossing on bikes. It was such a surreal and unforgettable experience. Along the way, we also stopped at cafés for drinks and food, which made the ride feel relaxed and local rather than rushed. What impressed me most was how much attention they give to safety and rider comfort. Kotaro is a former professional cyclist, and his experience really shows. He is extremely knowledgeable and helped adjust my bike to U.S. brake specifications, since braking systems differ by country. His expertise and attention to detail made a huge difference. Both brothers communicate clearly in traffic using hand signals and guidance, making the ride feel safe and well organized. For riders with less road experience, they are patient and accommodating. For experienced cyclists, this tour is an absolute joy. The ride does include some hills depending on the route, but it is very manageable and feels more like fun casual cycling rather than an intense workout. I honestly felt like a local cyclist riding through Tokyo, especially when we stopped by some of Kentaro’s friends’ local shops. They also took photos of me during the ride, which was a really nice touch and made it easy to document the experience. Ono Wheels is conveniently located in Harajuku. While you are waiting or after your ride, I highly recommend checking out their nearby café, Baggage Cafe. The food and drinks are great, and they also sell Ono Wheels merchandise. The clothing is designed by the brothers and their friend, and the quality and designs are really impressive. I purchased a few items myself and love them. Overall, this was an amazing experience and something I would highly recommend. Whether you are an avid cyclist or just a casual rider, this tour is worth trying. Thank you so much, Ono Wheels Tokyo. I truly look forward to cycling with the brothers again. Thank you, Kentaro and Kotaro. See you soon

These guys are such an amazing group! If you find yourself wanting to take in a new experience in Tokyo, I highly recommend that you do this tour with them. They showed me a side of the city that I had not seen before and of course, when you’re cycling, you can take in so much. I had an excellent time and can’t wait to do it again when I’m back in Japan!!

The streets of Tokyo were usually visited by car, but the appeal of riding the streets of Tokyo by bicycle once again. I also felt that I could participate in the tour with peace of mind because of the fun of riding a variety of bicycles such as cross bikes and road bikes, as well as the staff's attentive explanation and tourist information! I recommend it.

I highly recommend this bike ride to anyone. These two brothers are so kind, easy to talk to, and we chatted about all sorts of things (fashion, football, etc…). Thanks for everything, and see you soon!

Had a great time riding around Tokyo with my friends. Stopped by a few places for snacks and each recommendation hit the spot. Would definitely do another ride with Ono wheel when I'm back in Tokyo.

I had an awesome 3-hour bike ride through Tokyo, and the 1:1 format made it feel extra special. We cruised through the city, stopped at a seriously delicious bakery (pro tip: order whatever just came out of the oven), and I learned so much along the way. I’ve been to Tokyo several times, but seeing it by bike was hands-down a highlight of my trip. I love cycling, and experiencing the city on two wheels was next-level fun. I ride regularly in San Francisco, and surprisingly, this felt calmer—even rolling through busy spots like the Shibuya Scramble (going early definitely helped). If you’re looking for a unique way to experience Tokyo, I can’t recommend this enough. Bonus points for getting to ride a legit Japanese road bike instead of the usual clunky tourist ones.

I'm lucky enough to have gone on this tour twice. The first time I went alone, and the second time with some friends. Both times were amazing. I'm not someone who typically likes guided activities; however, this is one of my favorite things to do in Tokyo, and I'd recommend it to anyone and everyone! First, you get to meet at Baggage Cafe, one of the best cafes. If you're lucky, maybe even meet Pele-kun, the cutest Boston Terrier who's a part-timer there. Second, you get to meet the Ono brothers, who are very accommodating and helpful. They take an interest in getting to know you and your riding level before the tour so they can gauge how to make it comfortable and engaging. If you're into cycling, you'll go at a fun pace. If you're not, you'll go at a comfortable pace. Third, you get to see so many cool places via bike, which is the best way to explore a new area. Lastly, you'll end up with some amazing and unique photos from your trip. 10/10 would recommend!

I went on a New Year’s bicycle tour. While teaching us a lot about Japanese culture, the guide took us to many hidden spots where we could experience the Japanese New Year. After the tour, we enjoyed delicious coffee and breakfast at the café at the meeting point, which made for a wonderful start to the day. This is a highly recommended tour if you come to Tokyo.
