This is not a typical Tokyo tour.
Instead of following a fixed list of famous spots, you’ll discover hidden sides of Tokyo with your private local guide — like a friend showing you around their city.
Walk through backstreets, step into small shops, take a break at a local café, and enjoy moments you won’t find in a guidebook.
The day is fully tailored to your interests, whether that means food, culture, quiet neighborhoods, or simply wandering at your own pace.
While the experience feels relaxed and flexible, your guide thoughtfully shapes the day so you can make the most of your time.

Senso-ji Temple
Senso-ji Temple is the oldest temple in Tokyo and one of the city’s most iconic cultural landmarks. The area is lively and full of traditional architecture, local snacks, and souvenir shops. Together with us, you can also enjoy learning about traditional temple customs such as omikuji fortune slips and how to purify your hands at the temizuya in a fun and easy way.
Kaminarimon Gate
Kaminarimon Gate is one of the most famous landmarks in Tokyo and the symbolic entrance to Asakusa. It is known for its giant red lantern, which weighs around 700 kilograms, and for the statues of Fujin and Raijin, the gods of wind and thunder, standing on each side. It is more than just a photo spot and offers a memorable first impression of old Tokyo.

Came to Japan with no knowledge on anything, our guide was so smart and professional, it was great talking to him and having good laughs while he showed us great food options and shopping destinations. There’s nothing bad or uncomfortable about him, he is a honest and trustworthy person who will be a great guide and a great friend.

Saburu was our guide for the day. They were flexible to my requirements and timeframe we had. We took the 8 our private tour slot. The Guide came right at the property to pick us up and we started the tour. It was very seamlessly planned. It was absolutely amazing. The places we covered of Tokyo was on point. We did not miss any single point. The guy made sure to stay right by us and are here to our request. Real time and made a lot of changes as well as per our timeline or flexibility. I would definitely recommend them for your Tokyo experiential tours. Saburu tookbus to offbeat locations too to give a mice walking tour around Tokyo’s and Japanese culture heritages. And also we had Lunch at a local restaurant which locals go to at Ueno Station area. Took us to shopping as well. Introduced to a new game and I nailed it in first time. They were kind enough to even give me a very good friendly discount as well. Looking forward for more such experience with them in future visit to Tokyo. The Guide offered to carry our bags and take a lot of our Pictures and be patient with each and every tourist locations we covered.

Booking the tour was a breeze. Tomoki was responsive and helpful through e-mail as I decided what I wanted from the tour that I would take with my teenage son. Tomoki checked on us a few days before our trip to confirm and to see if there was anything else that we needed as our trip approached. We spent 2 days exploring Tokyo with Rei and had a great time. It was so fun to get a local’s perspective while we saw the sites. In each of the areas we visited, Rei showed us places that we wouldn’t have found on our own. After our first day, Rei came with some personal suggestions for places to visit based on what he found out that we really liked. Thanks for helping to make our visit memorable! It really was like visiting a friend in Japan.

Did a fun and engaging 4 hour tour with Taiga. What we really appreciated was that pre-tour, we could chat directly with the team (Tomoko) to tailor our experience so we could get the most out of the places we visited (around Asakusa area). Also, Taiga picked us up from our hotel which was super convenient. He was very flexible with the itinerary on the day because we needed multiple rest breaks; we'd already walked a million steps by the time we did this tour! Many thanks to Taiga and Tomoki for a wonderful experience. Would happily book with them again!

A big thank you to Kento for an amazing day. We had a brilliant time. Being able to see what we wanted at our own pace made our day. The team was so helpful before the tour and after as well. I would recommend this to tour to everyone.

We had a great time with our guides, Taiga and Tammy, who took my family, which includes two elders, around, making sure to pace things out perfectly so as to allow us to see all the places properly!

Communication was excellent from start to finish and Tomoki was so helpful with suggestions, information, coordinating guides and planning a route complete with snack stops. They appreciated our desire to avoid crowds where possible and to go to local areas. There were specific shops I wanted to go to and they got me there and spoke to the staff on my behalf. I highly recommend this tour company with their unique concept. This is not your run of the mill, see all places as fast as you can. This is personalised and excellent value for money. We had children with us and they had an extra person along who could entertain the kids and show them sights and shops that were of interest to them. Thank you specifically to Taiga and Tammy for our day out in Nakano Broadway and Ginza Togoshi and to Subaru and Sara for our day out in Asakusa. You looked after us and our children so well.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with our tour guide, Rei, in Japan! From the very beginning, he was incredibly knowledgeable, organized, and helpful. He expertly guided us through the subway and bus systems, making public transportation feel easy and stress-free. He took us from our hotel through the transit system to a fantastic walking tour of Asakusa and Senso-ji Temple, then helped us navigate the cruise ship to Odaiba as well. What really stood out was how patient, kind, and flexible Rei was with our very jet-lagged and tired 8- and 6-year-old children. He adjusted plans when needed, gave thoughtful options to fit their energy levels, and kept everything running smoothly and on schedule without ever making us feel rushed. The kids absolutely loved him, and we truly appreciated how friendly and understanding he was with our family. Thank you so much, Rei, for making our trip such a memorable and enjoyable experience. We highly recommend him to anyone visiting Japan!
