It was a fun experience that lasted about 2 hours. I would recommend the one that includes lunch or dinner. The food was nice and you can have as much as you like. The host was engaging throughout and spoke excellent English. The sumo wrestlers were also very friendly and made the evening fun.

Our favorite Tokyo experience with my partner was a Sumo entertainment show featuring retired wrestlers. The show is modern and inclusive, a playful contrast to the intensity and rigidity of professional sumo, making it perfect for tourists. We enjoyed a steaming Chanko Nabe (traditional sumo hot pot) together and even got a photo with the wrestlers—a lively, memorable mix of culture, food, and spectacle. I appreciated the gifts of the sake holder, flag and framed photo: it’s something we proudly cherish and a memory with both hold dear.
