Got a tour on our first full day in. Highly recommended experience! Yu was our guide, she was super knowledgeable, really fun, and willing to answer our questions. She helped us learn the area and we all felt braver to explore and order food on our own going forward. The price of the tour was reasonable for the amount of food we ate. Even the biggest eater with us felt satisfied at the end as it was all delicious. We did a later tour on Friday night, so it could be a bit loud at times, but our guide was really attentive to make sure we all felt included. Definitely looking at other guided events now. It seems silly, but it definitely takes the stress off of being in an unfamiliar place and not getting the most out of your time.

Our guide, Yu, showed us places to see and to eat that were superb and authentic. Yu was a very graceful host and we really enjoyed her company and insights. A lot of fun and would highly recommend a tour with Yu.

Firstly, you won’t go hungry on this tour! Lots of great food, different styles, drinks, venues you wouldn’t find by yourself and a great vibe. My husband and I really enjoyed it and the info along the way about the area and food was great - fantastic way to experience another area of Tokyo, highly recommend!

A fantastic experience not to be missed. Our guide Kaho spoke perfect English and we were able to ask all the questions we had but hadn’t had the opportunity to ask. Food was amazing and plenty of it. Took us to places only locals would know about. Wish we had know about this company at the start of our trip as we would have booked more tours with them

We had such a great day with Kana - not only was the food fantastic, her expert knowledge made the experience one to remember. We chose to take the tour on our first day in Tokyo to get a sense of what to eat in the neighborhood and we were not let down. The value of the tour was excellent, an well worth the price paid. We felt like we got to enjoy every minute of the experience and would take another excursion with Sunrise should the time allow. Can’t recommend enough!

Really nice food tour. Great variety of Japanese cuisine. Our guide, Yu, was incredible. Nice attention to details and interesting historical facts. Not a single down moment. My only complain (which isn't a real one) is that we almost ate too much. Also, as a matter of preference, I would suggest to end with some kind of lighter (maybe sweet?) food. Still, awesome experience. Would highly recommend!

The food tour takes place near Ueno station and goes to discover some typical restaurants (including “Izakaya”) where you can taste local food. We ate different specialties such as sushi, gyoza, yakitori and ramen, as well as visited a very important part of the neighborhood where there are typical markets. It was a really nice experience that I recommend to everyone, especially if it's your first time coming to Tokyo and you don't know where to look for authentic Japanese restaurants. The food was all great, the neighborhood very interesting to visit and the guide Mayu is nice and prepared, he explained many things about Japanese food that I did not know and told me about the interesting curiosities about the tour site.

The food, the sights, the opportunity to learn, all above and beyond. From sushi to gyoza to wonderful midafternoon gizzards at a Izakaya to healing chicken ramen. Best part is that the incredible food was paralleled with excellent conversation. Yu is a consummate and incredibly charming young professional, and I would recommend her and her knowledge to anyone looking to learn about Ueno and its food.

I had a good time with Yu! I got alone so i got a private tour, but Yu told me a lot about Japanese history and culture. She also was flexibel with the schedule, i was less hungry than expected due to the jet lag, so she showed me some other stores and the neigbourhood which was super fun!
