Upon arrival, begin to explore the most charming garden -Tuisi garden ( Garden of Retreat and Meditation), listed in the UNESCO, appreciate its unique Qing Dynasty architecture surrounded by the beautiful natural crafted rockeries and peaceful ponds and greens. Enjoy the leisure walk along the unique "Ming and Qing Dynasty street", cross the three lucky "Ring Bridge" , check out the fun water markets,diving birds, historical landmarks while learning the interesting custom ,culture from your knowledgeable guide. Immerse yourself in the beautiful and picturesque township scenery while take a relaxing gondola ride in the ancient canal. Michelle, our tour guide was very friendly, informative, professional and very learned. The Tongli Water town has a very old history and cultural significance. By far the best water town to visit in Suzhou. Mark, our personal chauffeur was very friendly and interactive. More important ly, very safe. I am extremely impressed with Sunny Zhang tours. Thank you

We opted for the private pick from our hotel and met with our local tour guide, Peter in Tongli. Peter grew up in the area so he was very knowledgeable and an experienced tour guide. We went on a Wednesday so there wasn't much crowd, and we were able to spend a fair bit of time in the UNESCO Heritage Tuisi Garden. He also took us to a nice local place for lunch where we really enjoyed all the food he recommended. After lunch we had time to take a stroll along the canals for more photos and to explore the local shops. As our return journey to Shanghai was also by car, there was no rush for us to return a certain time so we had a really nice day overall.

Hotel pickup on time and an excellent drive to the Water Village. Guide Liam was very informative and knowledgeable about the village itself and the surrounding area. Very good trip the boat ride was great. Would recommend to others.

A lovely visit to Tongli water town and gardens. Annie our guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. The transport was excellent and we had a perfect day visiting the gardens, Tongli water town and taking a lovely boat ride before a delicious lunch. I highly recommend this top quality experience.

The whole day was perfect 👌. Our guide Annie was incredible - one time, professional, sociable, knowledgeable and showed us interesting and beautiful areas Tongli was gorgeous and not crowded and the boat ride and lunch were fantastic. The transportation was super comfortable and smooth too and I highly recommend Annie - she made the day perfect.

Pick up in time at our hotel, then a pleasant and informative trip to Tongli in a really clean and comfortable van. The walking and visit to the places like water canals, small streets, the quiet and nice house and garden followed by a really good authentic lunch。 We had then a nice canoe tour on the canals。 We were more than happy to choose to visit with a guide. With Annie - excellent and lovely guide - we learned things about the habits and customs that we would never have discovered by ourselves without her informatives explanations。 Annie with her energy was a real bonus to this tour. We were able to get some chinese pieces of way of life, thinking and cultural daily life approach, quite amazing and entlightning for us. So in this restarting period for travels we will keep an excellent memory of our first tour in 2023 !!
