5.00Biking in Amsterdam is unlike anywhere we’ve been. Takes a bit of nerve! But the guide (Boss) was great- informative, interesting and friendly. The food and drink was a nice mix of sweet, savory and alcoholic.

5.00Amsterdam is best explored the local way - on two wheels, with great food guiding the route. We recently joined a food and culture bike tour with them, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable ways to experience the city. Cycling through the charming canals, hidden streets, and the picturesque Jordaan district, we discovered Amsterdam’s history and culture through its food. The culinary journey included fluffy poffertjes from Pat’s Poffertjes dusted with powdered sugar, juicy chicken saté with peanut sauce at De Blauwe Pan, crispy cod bites and traditional herring from Volendammer Haringhandel Jonk, and the iconic bitterballen paired with fries & beer at Rokin 85 Gastropub. Along the way, we also enjoyed freshly made stroopwafels, herbal bitters, and a taste of traditional jenever. What made the experience truly special was that every stop came with fascinating stories and local insights - we deep dived into Amsterdam’s history, traditions, and multicultural influences. If you're looking for a unique way to experience the city beyond the usual sightseeing, this food and culture bike tour is an absolute must. Good food, beautiful views, and endless cycling!!
