What To Expect
Bimini
Your journey begins with a short 15-minute trip to Pablo Escobar’s plane wreck. Here, you’ll snorkel around a WWII-era plane that now serves as a vibrant home to diverse marine life. Next, explore the legendary SS Sapona. Originally commissioned as a troop transport ship during WWI, it later stored liquor during Prohibition and served as a bombing practice target in WWII. Continue to Stingray Island, where you can feed these graceful creatures as they glide through the water. The final and most thrilling stop is the Bahamas’ renowned “Shark Arena,” where you’ll snorkel among approximately 30 Caribbean reef sharks that visit daily.

5.00This was the best excursion we have done in the Caribbean. Snorkeling was amazing with crystal clear water and more fish than you can care to count. Amazing. The stingrays were amazing. Feeding them on the beach was an incredible experience. Swimming with the sharks was a huge thrill as well. The highlight was snorkeling the ship wreck. So fun to swim through the inside of the ship and find the propellers and thousands of fish.

4.00Beautiful place to spend all day swimming in crystal clear turquoise water. You have to know well about the itinerary that the agency delivers for which you travel for a day, since we missed visiting places because we do not know well the schedule of the day. Know something English since they do not speak Spanish. Also, inform yourself that if you are dropped off at a resort you must pay at least $50. Worth the trip!

5.00A group of seven including family and friends were traveling back home from a trip to the Summer PAW Convention in Baltimore. We arrived at the airport in Fort Lauderdale about five hours before our flight was due to leave. Each of us weighed our suitcases and those that we thought needed adjusting to the required weight we adjusted. My group was the first to line up for check in and the first person in front turned around to notify the rest of us that the required weight was 40 lbs. instead of 50 lbs. as we were used to on the other airlines. The time that it would have taken to process all seven of us doubled or tripled as we scrambled to ensure that each piece to be checked was only 40 lbs. Fortunately for me my carryon was very light so I packed the extra in my carryon. One piece of my luggage was expandable which I adjusted and told those who till had overweight pieces to pack their stuff in my bag. The Agent of the airline who assisted us needs to go in business to train other airline agents how to treat passengers. She was so calm as apposed to some others that we encountered on other legs of our trip. Since our group was so large she could have left us to sort out our problems while she dealt with other passengers but she patiently waited for us with smiles on her face. It was my first trip on Western Air and I am happy to recommend that airline to others. Thanks to the young lady who assisted us traveling on its last flight to Nassau from Fort Lauderdale on Friday, 2 August 2024. I think it was the first time for most of us flying your airline and we will spread the good news.

5.00Our guides Denver and Navin were wonderful. The fab 4 is great tour. During the morning, the first stop was serene and other-wordly gorgeous with fishes hiding in the plane. Janay runs a quality operation. Bimini is lovely place as yet unspoiled by crowds.
