This beautiful temple complex is one of the most picturesque in all of Egypt. It sits on Aglika Island just south of the old Aswan Dam and you must ride a water taxi to the island to get to theruins. The careful reconstruction at the current site carefully completed, painstakingly preserving the original appearance and layout of the complex and even landscaping the island to match its former location.

I generally prefer to travel without a guide but I'd primarily traveled in places I'm culturally and linguistically more familiar with - Egypt could've been intense and confusing but Deluxe Tours planning and expertise made things smooth and stress free. We saw everything we imagined and more. Our guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and helped us navigate the complex and unfamiliar history, society, markets and traffic with ease. With this much to coordinate and so many people involved, at times plans changed as circumstance/opportunity allowed or required - everything was handled professionally with our preferences and experience in mind. I'd highly recommend this tour, particularly if it's your first time going to Egypt.

The train journey to Luxor and Aswan was a delightful way to witness the stunning landscapes along the Nile River while soaking in the local essence. Luxor's ancient temples and the mystical Valley of the Kings were awe-inspiring, painting a vivid picture of Egypt's glorious past. In Aswan, the tranquil ambiance and the exquisite Philae Temple were a serene contrast to the bustling cities, providing a serene retreat into history and spirituality. The optional visit to Abu Simbel showcased the monumental achievement of ancient Egyptian architecture and was a highlight of the trip, despite the extra travel involved. While train travel offered efficient connectivity between these captivating destinations, the longer travel durations might tire some travelers, yet the overall experience surpassed any exhaustion.

5 out 5 for us! We spent the last 4 days in Aswan and Luxor. Our tour guides (Ahmed for Aswan and Walid for Luxor) were very experienced and helpful throughout the trip. The drivers (Romani for Aswan and Mahmoud for Luxor) were always on time and was also very helpful with our luggages and ensured that we were comfortable on our roadtrips. Never really had a problem with everything. Highly recommended!
