Safety is our priority, in order for you to enjoy the experience to its fullest we may have to slightly forward or delay your start time after reservations are made, to avoid heavy flow of people and betterment of the experience. The notification will be sent by email the evening prior the tour.
** If you're traveling with a group but reserved your space separately, you have to notify us that you're together. The chances of being assigned to different tour guides are high, and changes can't be made on the day of the tour **
We recommend shoes that you won’t mind getting wet and muddy, that have a good grip and thick sole. Sneakers, water shoes or hiking sandals that cover your toes are the best option. Be mindful that sandals, flip flops, croccs or slides are not allowed as it can be dangerous once wet or muddy.
If you’re using UBER services you can use “Deli Plaza Loiza (Norte)” **KEEP IN MIND we have no affiliation with Uber nor we have any way to change the location or the names in their systems. The name provided for the meeting point in Uber system can change at any point, confirm location through your map and the location of Norte Shopping Center, San Juan.
Pictures AREN’T part of this experience, if you’d like to bring your phone with you keep in mind you should have a waterproof pouch in order to protect it as it can get damaged during the excursion. Some guides will take pictures which they will share after the tour is done. It’s not their obligation to send this pictures to you after you’ve parted ways

Food stop WON’T be available for tours at 1:00 pm. Our guests are welcome to bring snacks and water, no alcoholic beverages.

Participants with; Walking limitations, Overweight Issues, Permanent Injuries, Recent surgeries or not physically fit are NOT recommended as a good physical condition is required to complete this experience.

What To Expect
El Yunque National Forest
We visit the East side of El Yunque Rainforest to enjoy a 25-minute hike to the first waterfall. There you can enjoy the landscape, swim in the water, rope swing or free dive from multiple heights. Further up after a 15-minute hike, there is another watering hole with a natural rock slide and cliff jump into the river. Learn of the history of the rainforest, iguanas, guava trees, bamboos and 100 year-old trees. This is an adventure good for those looking to enjoy nature and an a very authentic Puerto Rican rainforest experience. We end the trip by having lunch at a local small family owned restaurant that serves authentic home-style food (not included in price). Good physical condition required as hike is in pure nature, muddy and fun. Our team of local guides focus on showing the best of the island for an unique local experience.

5.00Migi - our tour guide - was amazing! This experience is truly something you cannot do alone unless you are a local. I’d say the life jackets were worn out, broken, and smelled awful, but they still functioned and the experience made it all worthwhile. 100% would recommend
10/10 experience. Everyone should go!!

5.0010/10!!! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. Had a ride there and back, uber is very cheap around san juan.. THE HIKE, cliff jumping, rope swinging, water sliding - was a GREAT experience. Was sweating before we touched the water. Will def leave with some scratches but WHO CARES 😂 I wish we did this sooner! Great Guide as well!

5.00Absolutely amazing experience at El Yunque! Our guide JEREMY and SAITO made the entire trip unforgettable. They were super knowledgeable about the rainforest, and the species inside the El unique forest. The hike was the perfect mix of adventure and fun — waterfalls, natural slides, cliff jumps, and incredible views everywhere. The guide also made everyone feel safe and comfortable the entire time while still keeping the energy high and exciting. What really stood out was how friendly and passionate the team was. You can tell they genuinely love what they do and want everyone to have a great experience. This ended up being one of the highlights of our Puerto Rico trip. If you’re visiting Puerto Rico, I highly recommend booking this tour. Definitely worth it!

5.00Gion was a great tour guide. Very nice and friendly. Loved every part of the adventure. Definitely muddy paths so wear sneakers for sure!! At the end they took us to a place where they sell food plates. Honestly the food was mid, not worth $20. I would’ve preferred if they were to take us to a strip where there’s a lot of restaurants to choose from instead. Food was 4.5/10. So I recommend bringing A LOT of snacks, drinks, and go to a restaurant after the event is over instead of buying that restaurant food. Overall, the el yunque experience was worth it !

5.00The experience was amazing. I went in thinking it was a regular hike with some waterfalls. Our tour guide Louis with no shirt made the experience that much more fun. He was knowledgeable and helpful when anyone needed assistance. I thoroughly enjoyed the water slides, jumps and roap swing. I would highly recommend the trip and recommend going with Louis.

5.00No Shirt Louis was an AWESOME tour guide! He was knowledgeable about the environment and had an infectious energy that carried through the group. He made sure that everyone was comfortable with the pace and the swimming activities, being mindful and supportive of those who don't know how to swim but still wanted to try the slide. 10/10 Louis!!
