Your journey begins at the signature tasting barrels, where you’ll sample five of Topper’s most celebrated rhums. Next, you’ll be escorted to Topper’s Restaurant & Bar, overlooking the sparkling lagoon. Here you’ll sip on Topper’s famous homemade rhum punch while learning the brand’s fascinating story. You’ll then savor a chef-crafted “Cooking with Rhum” sampler platter, pairing the island’s flavors with Topper’s premium blends. A refreshing Guavaberry Colada, St. Maarten’s national drink, completes the experience. The tour continues back inside the distillery, where you’ll discover 12 specialty small-batch rhums available exclusively from the unique Rhum Tap. Julia was an excellent tour/tasting guide for us. We truly enjoyed the whole experience down to pouring our own bottle.

5.00Myself and a friend enjoyed our Toppers Rhum Tasting with food pairing tour. Our guide Sasha was very informative about all the Toppers Rhum products. They provide many different flavors of rum and three tier pricing. Something for everyone. They also provide shipping services back to the US for $90 dollars for six bottles. A bit expensive but definitely worth it and appreciated. The food pairings were awesome. They have shrimp cooked in their own rum infused sauce. Best shrimp I have ever had and I’m old. So quite the accomplishment. They also have a rum tasing only tour that is less expensive but I highly recommend the tour with food pairings. The gift shop had much variety and if you go….don’t leave without a Rum Cake, you will thank me I promise. Take this tour you won’t be disappointed.

5.00My husband and I loved this tour. We went in with no expectations and left impressed. We tasted a total of eighteen different rums, each with its own distinct flavor. The experience felt thoughtful and well paced from start to finish. We also enjoyed a rum punch and a guava berry colada. Learning about guava berry as the national fruit of St. Martin added a nice local touch. The food stood out. The chicken, shrimp, and ribs were each paired with three different rums, and each dish used those rums in the sauce. The ribs and shrimp were some of the best I have had. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. We ended with gelato, and some flavors were infused with rum, which was a great way to finish the experience. Cindy made the tour even better. She brought great energy, shared helpful recommendations, and kept everyone engaged the entire time. I would recommend this excursion to anyone who enjoys food, drinks, and a well-run experience. I bet you will buy at least one of the rums to bring home, and the hardest part will be picking which one!

5.00Hats off to the manager at Toppers, thank you sir!!!! Our tour was booked through another service through our resort which left something to be desired. Everything was fixed by the manager at Toppers and the tour was terrific as well as the food!!! The tour was really interesting and informative. Our guide, Tosha (sorry if the spelling is wrong), was fantastic!!!! She kept the group engaged and was very knowledgeable. I highly recommend the tour if you’re in Sint Maarten!!!!
