For two hours, an expert local guide will take you on hidden trails, showing you fascinating animals such as the famous red-eyed tree frog, sloths, toucans, snakes, spiders, reptiles, insects and history of Tortuguero, sloths that hang lazily from the branches. Learn about the behavior of these nocturnal animals while enjoying the surrounding sounds of the jungle. Equipped with a flashlight and the spirit of adventure, you’ll be ready for a unique experience in one of the world’s richest ecosystems.

The Tour departs in groups of up to 10 people per guide to give a quality service.

Unforgettable experience and a must do in this area! Safe walk with many different species. Out local guide had a night telescope with him which made even insects on the slots high in the tree visible! Thanks for this great opportunity!

The night hike through the rainforest exceeded my expectations. We've seen a lot more animals than I thought. I am impressed by the ability of the guides to mock animals. I had some difficulty spotting the animal when the guide had already pointed his flashlight at it 😅 We saw a very rare owl, several red-eyed leaf frogs, iguanas toucans, a porcupine (I was not aware of them living up here in trees until now), a sloth, a baby boa and a giant boa. I can 100% recommend the situation and will definitely book a night hike on my Costa Rica trip.
