  I am so happy that I booked this tour! Alejandra was extremely responsive. She took care of arranging transportation from our apartment near La Rambla. When we arrived, we found out that our family were the only members on the English language tour. Alejandra was knowledgeable, friendly, and the tour was extremely interesting. The charcuterie board and empanada that was served with the tasting were delicious and filling. All in all, this is a nice introduction to Uruguayan wines in a location that is easy to access.

  We had a fabulous visit of this visually stunning historic winery. The staff and winemaker/tour guide Alejandra were warm and thorough, making for a genuinely enjoyable and educational tour. A driver was recommended for us (Washington Rivero), organized through the winery, and he was warm and punctual. It was a pleasure to see the persistence and passion that has preserved this gorgeous site for winemaking and such exceptional tours. From the visual legacy left in the cement fermentation tanks of gorgeous colors, to the incredible barrels which are works of art in themselves, as well as the scene of jugs of solera wines, we were in awe during our tour. The tasting room and boutique are welcoming, and we especially enjoyed the unique medio y medio and the fond de cave. Our visit was capped off with an opportunity to meet the owner who was also lovely. I wish them all the success in continuing the legacy of this bodega. It is not to be missed if you're in the area.

  Very nice space and with nice and helpful people. Delicious wines and baskets of bread, cold and empanadas suitable for the proposal. Tamara and Alejandra received us very well and took away any doubts we had. I recommend the visit!

  The visit to the vineyard was very interesting and pleasant. The tasting is also very satisfying. Only there was no guide in Portuguese, as announced. Despite being very friendly and courteous, the guide understood Portuguese but only spoke Spanish.

  The trip could not have been better!! The history of the place is very interesting. The tour will show the entire manufacturing process that still values the tradition. Our guide Tamara left the tour unforgettable, with his excellent explanations and his sympathy. The tasting at the end was amazing, excellent wines and table of cold, empanadas and delicious breads.   A different experience from other wineries. The vineyard is all underground, 5m below the ground. However, there are wines that also undergo the fermentation process exposed to the sun. It is a unique experience and a lesson of the methods used there including the champenoise. Our guide Tamara, is a sweetheart of Cover and has demonstrated great knowledge about everything. Many surprises throughout the visit as quite peculiar flavors of champagne and fermented wine in the sun. It was almost two pleasant and unforgettable hours.
