The Maullín River is one of the great free rivers in the country and known as the Amazon of Chile, it still preserves much of its native vegetation. This is one of the greatest singularities of the river, since

that its bed is invaded by a swampy forest. Swamp forests are extraordinary ecosystems, which develop on wetlands, hosting a rich biodiversity in which wild flora and fauna of forests and aquatic ecosystems coexist.

Primero que todo nos encontraremos en nuestra tienda de kayak en Llanquihue, justo al frente del Lago del mismo nombre con una vista privilegiada a la Cordillera de los Andes, para luego equiparnos con el equipo de kayak y comenzar con la charla técnica para el uso adecuado. Posterior a esto empezaremos a remar por el tercer lago mas grande de Sudamérica y nos adentraremos por el desagüe natural de sus aguas el "Rio Maullín" es uno de los 8 lugares con mayor biodiversidad del mundo donde podremos disfrutar de la belleza y tranquilidad de las aguas de este fantástico lugar, entre su bosque sumergido y la gran cantidad de Aves endémicas y migratorias. ¡dos horas y media en el río pasan rápido ! , el guía les hablara sobre las historias del lugar , además tomaremos un breve descanso para tomar un refrigerio rápido y nadar en las aguas claras de este río o simplemente para relajarnos en la orilla por un tiempo. Para finalizar retornaremos en transfer a nuestro lugar de inicio, donde tendremos pizza y cerveza artesanal para cerrar un excelente excursión Otros aspectos destacables No te preocupes por el clima contamos con equipo y vestimenta para la actividad.

The walk is very nice and entertaining, you walk along the maullin river from its beginning in Llanquihue to Puerto Varas, you get off at the height of the bridge that is on your way to Braunau. There is a stop in a very nice place to rest or bathe if you want, plus you get a snack. It is ideal to do it with friends or family, if you like nature super recommended. The guides pass everything to you, you only have to carry water, something to protect yourself from the sun and clothes to change in case you get wet. In the end you return to the meeting point and share with everyone a pizza and beer or juice.

We got started a little later than planned while waiting for other tour members to arrive. The guides were knowledge and friendly and made everyone feel included. They were able to provide all of the equipment and gear needed to feel safe, comfortable and dry. The kayaking portion was easy for someone in decent shape. Nothing too technical or tricky. The current of the river did most of the work. A few spots with small rapids but really all very manageable. I would do it again, maybe even the full day tour!

Excellent experience I went for bird watching and it was excellent, as a guide we had Felipe who knows a lot about this, taught us flora and fauna more focused on birds A lot was learned, it was the first time we Kayaked and we will definitely repeat it

We had the best day of our trip so far! The river and its surrounds were lovely - clear, deep water as well as shallow parts with interesting flora, a steady current, beautiful surrounds and lots of birds to watch. Phillipe was a great guide with lots of info about the habitat and guidance about kayaking in this area. Between him and Steve the whole activity was a pleasure - really nice to chat with them at the end over pizza and a beer. Highly recommend this day trip.

A highly recommended tour. The guides are very dedicated and answered all the doubts I had. Wonderful experience and would repeat it again. Plus it was in the rain, which I loved.
