This tour takes you to visit two iconic tourist sites of San Juan. Laguna Blanca at 3100 mnm and the Turquoise Creek 3960 mnm both places are in the vicinity of the Mercedario 6720 mnm, is located in the Ramada mountain range, a cordon composed of 4 summits that exceed six thousand meters and of which the Mercedario is the major summit. It is the eighth highest hill in America , being very little visited has little environmental impact, this allows sightings of guanacos, hares, condors, lizards and many other mountain range species, with much greater ease.

At the foot of the Glacier of the Horse is our destination the Creek located at 4000 meters striking for the color of its waters that are colored by the minerals of the mountain.

What To Expect

The C ° Mercedario 6720msnm, is located in the Ramada mountain range, a cord made up of 4 hills that exceed six thousand meters and of which the Mercedario is the highest peak. It is the tenth highest hill in America, preceded only by Aconcagua, Ojos del Salado, Pissis, among others, being very little visited, it has little environmental impact, this allows sightings of guanacos, hares, condors and many other mountain species, with a lot of greater ease. At the foot of the Caballito Glacier is our destination, the Arroyo located at 4000 meters above sea level, striking for the color of its waters that are colored by the minerals of the mountain. One of the cutest trekking I ever did. The landscape is changing to different colors and you can see a lot of flora and fauna. The arrival at the turquoise stream is the golden clasp. Contact with nature is total! The excursion with Elijah as a guide makes the experience superior. He is an excellent guide, he knows the mountain a lot. During the trekking he is guiding the rhythm (because the height sticks a little). It is recommended to do so in 2 days to acclimate. I would definitely choose San Juan Trekking again. If you are hesitating to come, do not think about it anymore! It's a magical place!
