Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door

First up is the world famous Durdle Door. A photogenic stone arch extending out to sea. Marvel at the site from atop the hill or wonder down to the beach for a close up encounter with the "drinking dragon". A short but stunning walk over the hill is Lulworth Cove, a pretty little fishing village famous for the natural cove and harbour formed by millions of years of natural erosion.

Small group tours are wonderful, and this one was the best. We had a full day exploring beautiful, coastal sites. Our guide and excellent driver Hannah was patient and adapted the tour based on interest and my physical limitations. Incredible visit to the coast at a number of spots, gorgeous scenery, and a climb to Corfe Castle—simply amazing.

Our day in East Dorset was rainy, but we still had a great time. Hannah was a terrific guide and driver. The first stop wad the Durdle Door, and despite a lot of fog, we were able to see it perfectly. The next stop was a small village, Lulworth Cove. We stopped at an old church for a quick visit, visited a pub for a drink and a steak pastie. Final stop was the remains of a thousand year old Corfe Castle. Hannah picked us up conveniently at our cruise port and dropped us off well ahead of our time cutoff. It was a great day, and we recommend Hannah highly!

Loved our tour guide Hannah. She gave us great information. We had a comfortable ride and she was very flexible at adjusting the activity to our needs. Loved every minute of tour and Loved everything we saw. Can't say anything negative about this tour. Best one we had so far.

The tour was great, seeing a variety of stunning natural phenomena along the Jurassic coast as well as Corfe Castle. Although each site we visited was beautiful in its own way, Durdle Door was the highlight -- a once in a lifetime adventure! Hannah, company owner and our guide, grew up locally and was lovely. She was informative about the area and sensitive to her group's different needs. My only recommendation would be that saying this adventure is for those with "moderate fitness" is an understatement. The walks for each adventure are rather lengthy (a total of ~5 mi) and often included steep stairways and gravelly, steep slopes that are uneven and can be slippery. Still, this was a wonderful trip, even for a pair of 70 year-olds with sometimes sensitive knees!
