Montana Redonda
Montaña Redonda is a natural viewpoint that offers impressive panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea and the Dominican landscape. In recent years, this place has gained popularity due to its swing that overlooks the horizon, making it one of the most photographed spots in the Dominican Republic. In addition to the views of the Caribbean, from here you can see the Limón and Redonda lagoons. The climb up the mountain, although challenging, is an experience in itself, surrounded by the typical flora of the Dominican countryside. The summit, at more than 1,000 feet high, offers a view that will be etched in the memory of every visitor.
Los Haitises National Park
This park is a natural treasure that combines sea, mangroves, jungles and archaeological remains hidden in caves. The greenery-covered hills are home to endemic birds, and the caves are home to indigenous paintings that tell stories of the ancient civilizations that inhabited the region. The park is a testament to the rich biodiversity and cultural history of the Dominican Republic. In addition, it is famous for being the setting for scenes from the Jurassic Park saga.

5.00My daughter and I, we are Canaries of Spain and just arrived from our week trip to Dominican Republic. Previously, we contacted via whatsapp with the local agency Jackcana Tours to do the excursions of Isla Catalina with the highlands of Chavón, Los Haitises National Park, Capital Santo Domingo, Samaná with its horseback ride, Saona Island and town Mano Juan and an excursion with Buggies. The attention to detail and professionalism of Jackson (booking manager) has been magnificent throughout, always responding quickly to all our doubts and proposals of how to organize our trip in the best way. The planning of the excursions went great, always remembering each one in advance, giving us the right directions not to be wrong. In itself, the excursions were great. Everything was fulfilled as promised, from the timetables, the activities to be carried out, passing through the security and our well-being at all times, essential requirement for me and more traveling with a minor. They were able to resolve on the fly doubts and drawbacks that arose at times, worrying daily about our contracted experiences. As for the payment, we made a part first through Pay Pal before traveling, and the rest we were paying in cash daily, as the excursions were made, so it was very comfortable too. As for the price of them, at a better price than in agencies in Spain, apart from having some details with us for hiring them all. We prefer this local agency to have a direct referral contact and secure support there at all times. After having returned from our trip, we have to say that they are totally reliable, attentive and responsible people, so I totally recommend them to anyone who wants to discover the beauties of Dominican Republic. We are extremely grateful to the JackCana Tours team for facilitating this special and unforgettable experience for us. A strong hug!!
