What To Expect
Lagunas Escondidas de Baltinache
Walk to the beginning of the trail where you can visit the 7 lagoons. Surprise yourself with the crystal clear waters of the lagoons and ask yourself how such a thing is possible in the middle of nowhere. Since March 3, 2025, you can swim in one of the lagoons.
Cordillera de la Sal
As part of the route to the Baltinache lagoons, we pass through the Llano de la Paciencia where we have the Cordillera de Sal on one side and the Cordillera de Domeyko on the other. That road takes about 1 hour to go and then another hour to return.

5.00Our experience in the Hidden Lagunas with Pukarumi was delicious. Very well received by Lolo and Duck, a super friendly couple. We started with a well served breakfast, with diversity and everything very tasty and fresh. We followed to the Lagunas and we left well relaxed and energized with the whole experience. Our family mosaic, Brazilian, came out enchanted. Thank you!

5.00Francisco was the best guide I've had during my stay in Chile. Informative and entertaining. Speaks great English so that was very comforting since my Spanish is terrible. The snack at the end was amazing. He made sure my son was comfortable since he was a little exhausted from our earlier trip to the hot springs. The drive was comfortable and quick. The soak in the salt lagoon was cooling and fun. Perfect way to end our activities for the day.

2.00Tour was nice. But You’re essentially paying 120 USD plus an entrance fee to be driven to the lagoon and have 20 min to swim. The lagoon is lovely but you don’t need the tour.
