That exciting winter activity will allow you to ski both on and off-piste and make you more independent from using ski lifts. What makes the touring skis unique is that with the touring skis you can both ski downhill and climb uphill. Skiing downhill is very similar to alpine skiing. Special ‘skins’ that will prevent you from sliding backwards are attached to the bottom of the ski for climbing.
