Our dishes are based on old popular recipes, those that any Campania family preserves and hands down from generation to generation…
Simple flavors, capable of warming the heart, combine with top quality ingredients for a unique result.
We also believe in respecting and caring for raw materials, which is why products from our garden are often used, so as to involve our guests in every phase: from the selection, to the collection of the ingredients, to their preparation.
Precisely for this reason our menus are divided into: Land, Sea and Pizza menus, for a real immersion in the taste of tradition!

What To Expect
Our cooking school is an unforgettable and unmissable experience, guests will have the pleasure of cooking typical dishes of Sorrento cuisine, including aubergine parmigiana, gnocchi, meatballs and preparing a tasty dessert, such as tiramisu. After having learned and put into practice all the advice of our chef, guests will take a small tour of our garden and, having arrived at the highest and most panoramic point of our farmhouse, they will be able to let themselves be carried away by the beauty of the view of the Sorrento peninsula. Finally, they will taste the dishes they have cooked and will receive as a gift a personalized Casale apron, a chef's hat and a certificate of participation signed by the chef.

5.00We did the mozzarella and pizza making experience. We were collected by the Casale del Nonno team and Francesca gave us a tour of part of the farm before we donned our chefs hats and aprons. The cooking took place in a beautiful setting with gorgeous views. In our group, there were three generations of family and everyone had a fabulous time. Highly recommended.

5.00From the drive up the hills of Sorrento to the end of the meal we made and enjoyed eating, we have a fantastic time. The views are absolutely stunning - the sunset is not to be missed. We toured the property and saw the gardens (with the help of our sweet and knowledgeable hostess) the pets and arrived at the dining area where we were greated by our chef and teacher. The prosecco was delicious and the garlic bread on arrival was some of the best I ever had. We did the land menu and were instructed on how to make tiramisu, gnocci, eggplant, and meatballs. The class was both extremely fun with our fun loving chef and excellent in teaching us how to make each dish. The wine with our dinner was fantastic and we enjoyed some oragechello after our meals before departung. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to do a cooking lesson and wanting to see Sorrento from the top of the hillsides!!!

5.00Francesca was an amazing host. Antonio was a wonderful chef & teacher. Lashem is the happiest assistant in the world. The food we made was fantastic. They even ended the experience with a birthday cake & song for me.

The entire experience was exceptional—from the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and very attentive. The chef guided us through each course with clear instructions and genuine enthusiasm, making the class both educational and enjoyable. 5.00What a great experience. This was one of the highlights of our holiday in and around Sorrento and the Amalfi coast. The setting is perfect and the cooking lesson is very fun. You will not be left hungry or thirsty as the drinks flow all evening. It;s only a 10 minute drive up the hill in Sorrento, and the views are worth the drive up! If you decide to do a cooking lesson, choose this one. The team working there are great hosts and clearly enjoy sharing their love of Italian food.

5.00If I could give 6 stars I would! If you love food and fun, take this class. Every member of the staff was wonderful. The recipes were easy to follow. Everything we made was so fresh and delicious. The view added to the experience! There were several classes in the towns we visited, but nothing would have compared. Plenty of wine flowed as well! Worth every dollar or euro!!

5.00On our first full day in Sorrento we were met with unusual rainy weather for June. As we were attempting to figure out what to do for the day, we decided to ask our hotel about any available cooking classes. Luckily, we were informed that a pizza cooking class was starting very shortly at a beautiful farm in the hills of Sorrento. Within a few minutes of making our decision, we made our way to a meeting point to be taken up to CaSALe del NonNo. Francesco, one of the owners of the beautiful farm, picked us up to bring us to the class. He was so incredibly kind and informative on our short drive to the farm, and continued the kindness and hospitality throughout our time in the class. When we arrived at the property, we were struck by the beauty and tranquility as opposed to the busier city center of Sorrento. The property is filled with many plants and farm animals and we had the opportunity to tour everything before starting our class. Our host, Francesca, was so friendly and answered all of our questions. The cooking class itself with Chef Antonio, was so much fun! We started off with learning to make an appetizer and then transitioned to the dough and pizza making. We loved that the class had a very intimate feel to it, with there only being four other people in our class. It allowed us to all have a high level of attention. Chef Antonio is an amazing teacher and chef, and Francesca did a great job continuing to guide and host through the experience. The other staff members, including the wait staff were so friendly and kind. We truly felt right at home! At the end of the class, we all sat to enjoy our pizza together (with lots of wine and limoncello!) which created the perfect end to the experience. We recommend this class to anyone during their visit to Sorrento and would love to be back for a different class once we visit Sorrento again in the future!
