What To Expect
Your experience begins in a cozy, traditional kitchen tucked away in one of Seoul’s lesser-known alleys. You’ll be welcomed with a warm cup of traditional Korean tea as your host introduces the day’s culinary adventure and shares insights into the unique values of Korean food culture and the importance of color harmony in dishes like Bibimbap. Next, it’s time to cook! With your apron on and ingredients ready, you’ll dive into a hands-on cooking session, learning how to prepare several classic Korean dishes step by step: Hot Stone Bibimbap,Bulgogi,Japchae,Doenjang-jjigae, Kimchi Pancake & Vegetable Skewers. Once the cooking is done, everyone gathers around the table to enjoy the meal together — just like a real Korean family. After your meal, the experience continues with a walking tour through the hidden alleyways of Euljiro — one of Seoul’s most fascinating and underrated neighborhoods. You'll visit spots even many locals don't know, and hear stories about the history and transformation of this special district. To finish off the day, you'll take part in a fun quiz and receive a small surprise gift, making this experience not just memorable, but truly personal.

5.00My boyfriend and I had a great time at the cooking class with Jiny. She took everything at our pace and was good at explaining all the steps in the dishes. We had plenty of time to learn everything. We learned how to make many different dishes and had plenty of time to eat them afterwards, after which we went for a walk with Jiny in the area. I can only recommend this experience to others!

5.00If I could give this class 10 stars I would!! We absolutely loved this activity while in Seoul. Jiny was engaging, so so kind, knowledgable and made cooking very fun! The value of the class is amazing. We learned a lot and were actually full after! The food was so good too, some of the best we had in Korea. The "hidden gems" walk around the neighborhood was a big plus, it was fun to see different areas from a local. We really can't rave enough about Jiny and this class. It was definitely a highlight of our trip.

5.00Wow!!! We enter the cooking studio and everything was all set up for us to have our lesson! Jinny our instructor was so welcoming, so sweet, funny , full of traditions, and so knowledgeable. We became friends instantly! The lessons were amazing and we cooked 6 different dishes! Step by step we were experts at Korean cooking. If you are in Seoul, Korea this is a must. You will have so much fun and meet an amazing friend!

5.00A must do experience when in Seoul! It was such a delight to meet Jiny and her husband. She is a gracious hostess that will welcome you with smiles, drinks and a little snack. We had so much fun learning how to cook a 6 course korean meal. The bonus at the end was the tour around the neighborhood. Come with an empty stomach because you will leave will a fully belly of the yummy food you just cooked. No need to worry about not being able to document your experience because you will get a zip file of not only the recipes, but also photos of you cooking. My boyfriend and I enjoyed every minute of this experience. Please don't hesitate and book a cooking experience with Jiny.

5.00We had such a fantastic time at Jiny’s cooking class! She was so warm and welcoming, and made the whole experience so much fun. The recipes were easy to follow and everything turned out delicious - we can’t wait to try making them again at home! After the class, Jiny took us on a tour around the neighbourhood, showing us some interesting local spots and small businesses we never would’ve found on our own. It was such a great way to see a different side of Seoul! This experience was truly one of the highlights of our trip - definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul!

5.00Fun, exceptionally well-organized cooking class in Seoul! Jiny did a great job providing some background on the dishes and explaining all of the steps. It was a hands-on cooking class, but not so overwhelming with details. Jiny is very positive and enthusiastic. We also had a short tour around the alleys of the neighborhood with definitely some local finds that a tourist would not find on their own. Also really nice that she took photos throughout and sent them to us after the class so we didn't have to spend any energy trying to capture some pics on our phones. Highly recommend!

5.00We were a group of 4 and this class far exceeded our expectations. Jinny was a phenomenal chef, teacher and hosts. She took time to learn everyone’s name and created a safe learning space We each had the opportunity to make each of the 6 dishes and each dish was phenomenal. I highly recommend this cooking class.
