Jiny was an incredibly welcoming host. From the moment we walked in it felt warm, friendly and authentic. The food was great, we left stuffed and very happy. We got great insight into traditional Korean food, the why behind the ingredients and traditions. Stay for the walking tour at the end! Jiny will show you some cool bars and a little history. Highly highly recommend.

This was a phenomenal experience. I’m very comfortable in the kitchen and felt that the program was a good mix between instruction and skill-building. Everything was so delicious and Jiny is an excellent teacher. One piece of feedback is that I don’t think the tour afterward is necessary.

One of the best cooking class experiences I have ever done. I am a Jamaican national living in Asia who travels the world solo. I always join cooking classes whenever I can. Jiny’s class was amazing. We cooked so much food and nothing was difficult at all. The studio was super cute and super clean in a very traditional older part of MyeonDong, South Korea. We ate a whole lot and there were options for vegans and non-specific meat eaters like myself. The only thing Jiny doesn’t have is coffee - so make sure to drink before. It was 100% worth the price.

Jiny was absolutely incredible! She taught us the history of the food before we began to make it. Most of the prep work was done for us which was nice! We had so much fun and created amazing food. Jiny remembers small details about us and even wrote a kind follow up email when she shared her recipes and photos! We really were able to live in the moment since she took the photos for us. After eating our food, she took us through hidden alleys and explained the significance of each place. This was truly a unique experience and one we won’t forget! I highly recommend!

Can't believe I forgot to review this. Jiny was great. Such an upbeat teacher. She kept us moving through our dishes while taking photos and videos so we could concentrate on our cooking. We experienced cooking bibmbop, bulgogi, glass noodles, kimchi pancakes and more. Then we all sat down to eat! She emailed us the recipes so we could make these dishes at home. After, we went on a tour ot the streets and alleys around the cooking school. We learned a lot about the life of a Korean as well as their food. It was a fun experience!
