We loved our entire experience from start to finish. The environment was warm and welcoming, and the group we cooked with was fantastic. Our teacher was amazing, super friendly, funny, and kept us laughing the whole time. The meals we made turned out absolutely delicious, and getting to enjoy them together afterward was the perfect ending. Time really flew by! After the class, we also explored the neighborhood and got a quick history lesson, which made the experience even more memorable. This was truly a 100/10 experience, and I would highly recommend it to everyone!

Jiny Kim was awesome. This was by far the best cooking class we have ever taken. She was fun, had a sense of humor and shared so much history about the food and Korea. The dishes we cooked were also very tasty. We had a fabulous time. Will come back to see her again when we are in Korea.

It was a very good cooking class. We prepared a surprisingly large number of dishes given the time allotted. The host was incredibly nice and helpful, and questions were warmly welcomed. The selection of dishes was interesting and varied, and some of the ingredients had been prepped in advance (e.g., onions were peeled, and ingredients were pre-measured). We ate some of the dishes immediately to enjoy them at their freshest, while for others, we gathered together around the table. The event concluded with a walk around the neighborhood. I definitely recommend this activity.

From start to finish, it was a wonderful experience. Jiny was warm, receptive, entertaining and knowledgeable. The prep work was already done, which made it possible to make several dishes rather than just one, and the food was delicious. The tour afterwards was a welcome bonus, as I felt like I needed to walk off the meal I had just eaten. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing time learning how to make authentic Korean food. There were lots of explanation not only on the unique dishes, but more broadly Korean culture and the specific brands or types of ingredients traditionally used. Jiny was so warm welcoming and accommodating to everything we needed. She even sends you photos and recipes so you can practice at home!

Absolutely recommend! The Cooking Class at dalbitkuku in Seoul was one of the best course experiences we ever had. Jiny was a fantastic teacher — super personable, super prepared and she explained everything very understandably. You could really tell how much heart and soul she puts into the course. We loved the fact that she not only showed us what to do, but also taught us a lot about Korean habits and culture. In between, we were able to taste again and again, and in the end we ate the main courses together and had a nice chat with the other participants. As a nice conclusion, there was even a small excursion through the neighborhood. The course is really worth every penny. We would do it again anytime!

Jiny was an incredibly welcoming host. From the moment we walked in it felt warm, friendly and authentic. The food was great, we left stuffed and very happy. We got great insight into traditional Korean food, the why behind the ingredients and traditions. Stay for the walking tour at the end! Jiny will show you some cool bars and a little history. Highly highly recommend.
