In our class, you will enjoy six real Korean dishes and some traditional desserts, giving you a true taste of Korea. The class takes place in a studio that mixes old Korean style with modern looks. You will hear interesting stories about Korean food and culture. Also, we will walk through hidden alleys—secret places even many locals don’t know—where you can learn special stories and get small gifts to take home.

What To Expect
Your experience begins in a cozy, traditional kitchen tucked away in one of Seoul’s lesser-known alleys. You’ll be welcomed with a warm cup of traditional Korean tea as your host introduces the day’s culinary adventure and shares insights into the unique values of Korean food culture and the importance of color harmony in dishes like Bibimbap. Next, it’s time to cook! With your apron on and ingredients ready, you’ll dive into a hands-on cooking session, learning how to prepare several classic Korean dishes step by step: Hot Stone Bibimbap,Bulgogi,Japchae,Doenjang-jjigae, Kimchi Pancake & Vegetable Skewers. Once the cooking is done, everyone gathers around the table to enjoy the meal together — just like a real Korean family. After your meal, the experience continues with a walking tour through the hidden alleyways of Euljiro — one of Seoul’s most fascinating and underrated neighborhoods. You'll visit spots even many locals don't know, and hear stories about the history and transformation of this special district. To finish off the day, you'll take part in a fun quiz and receive a small surprise gift, making this experience not just memorable, but truly personal.

5.00I spent a wonderful morning solo with the ray of sunshine that is Jiny. I was amazed when she told me she had taught herself English because she was so fluent and we had a really meaningful time together cooking and talking. I've done other cookery schools in Asia now and I can honestly say Jiny's was the best. The food was so tasty and delicious and she was so knowledgable about the history and ingedients of each dish. I had a lot of questions and Jiny had all the answers I wanted and more. I picked up some hacks that I will use in the future as I cook all the dishes for my family at home. Jiny's love of Korean food is infectious and even though I was already a big fan of the cuisine I love it so much more after making these dishes together. A really special memory of my time in Seoul. The hidden alley tour was fun too.

5.00What a delightful experience!! First of all, Jiny is a dream. Her 2nd floor cooking studio is charming with a dining table and decently sized stations for about 10. I don’t cook, but with Jiny’s guidance I somehow made the best bulgogi bibimbap I had in Korea and also learned techniques that will absolutely let me replicate the sauce and kimchi pancake at home. It was raining the day of my class, everybody else opted out the tour of the nearby neighborhood, but the walk with Jiny ended up being a highlight of my trip. I learned about some speakeasy bars and coffee shops and 24 hour honor code vintage shops.

5.00This was the absolute best thing we did in Seoul! The experience was so personal and the food we made was incredible. We felt like we were in our in someone’s home. Everything was explained beautifully and there was so much food to eat. Jinny couldn’t have been kinder . The alley tour after was the icing on the cake. Take this tour!!!

5.00It was very good experience! Everything well organised, all ingredients prepared in advance, good step by step guidance on each dish. Jiny is very kind and friendly, not only taught us how to make Korean food, but also gave us a tour of the neighbourhood which was very interesting! I really recommend taking this class in the beginning of your vacation, since she said a lot of useful information that would be helpful during your stay!

5.00My boyfriend and I had a great time at the cooking class with Jiny. She took everything at our pace and was good at explaining all the steps in the dishes. We had plenty of time to learn everything. We learned how to make many different dishes and had plenty of time to eat them afterwards, after which we went for a walk with Jiny in the area. I can only recommend this experience to others!

5.00If I could give this class 10 stars I would!! We absolutely loved this activity while in Seoul. Jiny was engaging, so so kind, knowledgable and made cooking very fun! The value of the class is amazing. We learned a lot and were actually full after! The food was so good too, some of the best we had in Korea. The "hidden gems" walk around the neighborhood was a big plus, it was fun to see different areas from a local. We really can't rave enough about Jiny and this class. It was definitely a highlight of our trip.
