Maclean reconnected me to my Ancestors through a Traditional Naming Rite/Ceremony which was the highlight of my trip to Ghana. So far Maclean is the cultured and the best Tour Guide I have work with.

Taking this tour was a life changing experience! The naming ceremony was very emotional for me. I was honored that the Chief named me after his wife who has transitioned, Abena Agyemang. Maclean, a very kind and patient man, taught us the history of the Ashanti/Asante tribe, made us feel comfortable and took plenty of pics and videos of the ceremony with my phone so this moment could be documented for me to share with family and friends. Thank you Maclean! Flying to Kumasi for the naming ceremony was the highlight of my trip! Learning how the ink was made for the Adinkra symbols and stamping my own cloth with the symbols was fascinating! This whole experience has forever changed my life! If you are visiting Ghana, Maclean's tour is a MUST! Thank you Maclean! Thank you Roots Tour!
