My girlfriend and I made an impromptu decision to visit the Algarve on our latest trip to Portugal for the day and had a great experience with our driver Antonio. He provided great history of the region, recommendations of places to eat/see (in Lisbon and Algarve), and was a great driver who helped shave off time on the long drive. The Algarve is a huge region and we decided to go to the beaches and attractions around the Lagos area and was dropped off and provided great direction/instructions at each destination we went too. If you ever need a driver any where in Portugal and António is available, he is your guy!

I along with my family spent a week in Portugal. Luis was our guide and driver for the week. From the pick up at the hotel to the drop off at the airport, he was the epitome of professionalism and kindness. His knowledge of the places we saw, flexibility in ensuring that we received the best experience possible and a great sense of humor, was a vital part of our Portugese experience. Just wanted you to know that you have a keeper and for our next trip we will be seeking Amiroad out again, because of our experience with Luis.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip from Lisbon to Lagos in the algarve. We debated just renting a car but wanted to be able to relax and just enjoy. Our driver, Francisco, was fabulous!!! I mean fabulous!! We told him overall what we wanted to do and he made the trip even better than we imagined by suggesting and bringing us to hidden beaches, magical views, and additional sites we didn’t know about. Our trip was worth every penny and Francisco shared local information with us along the way. We would have never stopped at sagres or salema but are so glad we did! He was extremely accommodating and professional. In fact, he anticipated our needs! Highly recommend. Also, this is the 3rd time we used amiroad and we love! All three times were positive experiences. The company is super good at communicating and keeping us informed.

Blair & myself hired Amiroad for Airport transfers, to have a personal driver for everyday travel, to site-see, and take us to the Algarve from Lisbon. Ricardo was our driver. Ricardo was professional, prompt, always arriving early, and a very nice man who made you feel you are his focus and priority. We felt so comfortable with Ricardo, that we invited him to join us for lunch on one occasion so that we could further enjoy his company and knowledge. The car service was excellent, and we would use Amiroad (and Ricardo) again on our next visit to Portugal. Thank you Amiroad for great experience!

We found AMIROADS on TripAdvisor based on reviews and couldn’t have been happier with our selection. First of all, a private driver experience is the way to go if you are visiting multiple cities with luggage. Antonio was our driver and he was super friendly, very nice and professional, extremely informed about all the areas we visited in Portugal (Lisbon, Porto, Algarve). He made recommendations for dinner, shopping and more and happily made reservations for us. He was flexible with our itinerary and very accommodating. We felt very safe and comfortable with him and really enjoyed the luxury of having this service. I would highly recommend AMIROADS and of course our driver Anthony.

We hired the service to take us round trip from Lisbon to the Algarve. Our driver on the way to the Algarve was like an encyclopedia of local history ! He was wonderful. The cars in both directions were luxurious, clean snd very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Helio was our driver. So very professional and informative on our drive south from the airport. He told us some of the history of Portugal and how to enjoy the country. Courteous and kind to our jet lagged family. Will reserve a car with them next time in Portugal.
