The historic urban site of Pocitelj
Medieval stone town Počitelj is built in the 14th century by the order of Bosnian king Tvrtko. Often referred to as Bosnia and Herzegovina’s ‘open-air museum’, its location in a natural karst amphitheater on the bank of the Neretva river is both stunning and strategic. Along with its stunning oriental architecture and Ottoman feel, in Pocitelj you can always enjoy eating figs, grapes, pomegranates, and other various organic fruit.

Tour sites were pretty standard for trips from Mostar based on other advertised excursions. Pace between locatios was good, plenty of time at each site with just enough time at Pocitelj for lunch. Note we visited in early October when crowds were not bad. It is obvious that all 3 sites get overwhelmed during high season. After visiting waterfall, we transferred to private car to continue to Dubrovnik. No delay, we were on our way immediately, through customs and in Dubrovnik before sunset. Best part of the trip was our informative guide on the bus and our driver, both excellent English and happy to provide more information about Bosnia and their own lives in this beautiful country. Excellent way to see the sights while getting from Mostar to Dubrovnik.

This tour was an absolute highlight and Adis is the kind of guide who makes your trip. The tour is well organized, convenient, and gives you a chance to see some highlights of Herzegovina on the way to Dubrovnik. Pick-up was on time, the journey was smooth, and we received excellent introductions to each stop and then ample time to explore. But it was Adis's warmth and openness to share his own story and give us a window into Bosnia that made our day and for which we will always remember. I could not more highly recommend!

A great way to travel between Mostar and Dubrovnik and learn about Bosnia along the way. Extremely well organised. Thoughtful guides who explained the history extremely well. We were introduced to cultural music which was a nice addition to the tour. The guides were very open about their personal experience of the war and this was very moving.

This tour was honestly one of the highlights of our entire trip. It’s the perfect combination of scenic travel and cultural insight, and a far better way to get from Mostar to Dubrovnik than just sitting on a regular transfer. Esmer was our guide for the first half of the day, and he was fantastic — incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and clearly passionate about the places we visited. From Blagaj and the Dervish house to the charming village of Počitelj, he shared so much history and insight that made the stops far more meaningful than just taking photos and moving on. After Kravice Waterfalls (which are stunning, by the way), we were met by Adis, who drove us to Dubrovnik. He was brilliant. Friendly, funny, and genuinely enthusiastic about showing us the region — he went out of his way to take a scenic route and point out places we would’ve completely missed otherwise. It didn’t feel like a transfer at all, but more like the continuation of a great tour. Both guides were professional, welcoming, and made the experience really special. If you're considering this as a way to travel between Mostar and Dubrovnik, I honestly couldn't recommend it enough. It's so much more than just transport — it’s a full day of exploring Bosnia & Herzegovina’s highlights with people who really care about sharing their country. Thank you again to Esmer and Adis!

Esmer was our guide of this nonstop trip. Every stop was better than I expected and Esmer was a great guide in between stops giving us info about our destinations and Bosnia and Herzegovina as a whole. Esmer’s story of his childhood and firsthand experiences of the war was a fascinating and unique experience to hear about. After our last stop at Kravice Waterfalls, my friend and I switched from the van with Esmer to Adis’s car for our transfer to Dubrovnik. Adis continued our tour by answering all of our questions we had. He even went out of his way to take us to a bakery we wanted to try and let me use his personal hotspot to call my airbnb host in Dubrovnik. I’d definitely recommend this tour to everyone

Esmer is a very nice tour guide who had a lot of interesting stories to tell during the tour. We really enjoyed it. Despite the fact that we were the only couple that required a transfer from Mostar to Dubrovnik after the tour (the others went back to Mostar), Esmer arranged a kind driver for just the two of us. Highly recommended if you would like to see some hotspots in your way to Dubrovnik and a much better idea than taking the bus, which is usually way too late 😉

Extremely knowledgeable and kind guides that went far and beyond, shared personal stories related to the history of Bosnia, one got to learn a lot about the past! Special huge thanks to Adis who took us all way over from Kravica waterfalls to Dubrovnik and made the whole trip even more fun! We felt very secure and after this tour recommend Bosnia and Herzegovina to all friends 🥰

I have never written a review before but I need to for this one. I would 100% recommend this trip. It was so beautiful to see the country and all of its hidden gems. Esmer the tour guide made this trip what it was, so interesting due to his knowledge of the history of his country and first hand stories from what he experienced during the war. It was a little hard to hear and was a bit sad but definitely worth it to really understand what this beautiful country/town went through. 10/10 would recommend this trip. The private transfer was also so handy and a great way to get there.

A really well organized tour that allowed me to see a series of sites of notable interest along the road from Mostar to Dubrovnik. Esmer, our guide, proved to be extremely competent, providing us with lots of useful information that allowed us to better understand the reasons for the dramatic fratricidal war that bloodied the Balkans a few decades ago. The visit to the Dervish House and the splendid Kravice Waterfalls was also very pleasant. Absolutely recommended

10/10 trip- cannot recommend more. Esmer was so thoughtful, knowledgeable and made the whole day run smoothly. He answered all our questions , no matter how obscure and provided fascinating details and context to all the locations, history as we drove and all the little touches like water, stopping when people needed food etc. were really appreciated. The locations are stunning and it is such a great way to make a transit from Mostar to Dubrovnik. Thank you!
