Upon arrival in Oslo, Norway and after some time getting through customs we discovered one our luggage items was missing and left in London Heathrow during our connection flight. We filed the necessary paperwork claim with the airline, which took some time. The local operating company never attempted to contact us during this timeframe. Barr in mind we were also attempting to reassure and calm our daughter who was upset that her luggage was lost. I reached out to the local tour operator to be met with ‘sorry time passed and you will need to make alternate transportation arrangements.’ Seriously!!! No attempt to help offer solutions, no concern or compassion about our lost luggage. Just a cold firm not our problem response. We travel globally often and have NEVER had a problem with Viator transports. This local tour operator needs to revisit their guest services policies, address the lack of empathy for those involved in our experience and I would strongly encourage Viator corporate to reconsider this local tour operators license.
