The bus was comfortable and kept to our schedule since we had to return to the airport. The guide Kamil was informative and friendly. Just enough stops to keep us engaged and to get a good taste of the city of Doha.

Very disappointing experience with Discover Qatar. I booked my stopover on 21st July 2025 and was promised that my transit visa would be applied by 23rd September. Since then, I have been sending daily emails (to [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]) but have only received automated replies and no real update. As of 30th September, just a few days before my flight, I still have not received my visa. Calling their service is more expensive than the visa itself, and they do not provide alternatives such as WhatsApp or a local contact number, making it extremely difficult for international travelers to get help. The repeated generic apologies without any concrete action have caused a lot of stress and inconvenience. Third-party agencies provide far better and faster service compared to Discover Qatar. If this issue is not resolved immediately, I will be forced to request a refund. Overall, this has been a horrible customer experience and I cannot recommend Discover Qatar to anyone planning their trip.

It was a wonderful tour. I arrived in Doha early in the morning, and since my connecting flight was after 1 p.m., I had too much time to spend at the airport, but not enough to go sightseeing on my own, so I was at a loss. Then I was told about this tour by Discover Qatar, so I jumped at the chance. Mr. Nayeem Uddin from Qatar Airways handled the arrangements, and everything was perfectly organised and guided. I booked the 8 a.m. tour at 7:30 a.m., and he arranged everything at lightning speed, accompanied me through immigration, and escorted me all the way to where the tour group was waiting. The bus tour passed by the World Cup stadium and the National Museum designed by Jean Nouvel, then stopped briefly at the Museum of Islamic Art for some sightseeing. The museum's architecture is stunning, and the wooden boats floating in the sea are also beautiful. We then headed to the skyscraper district. The Burj Doha skyscraper, designed by Jean Nouvel, emanates a powerful aura. We got off again at Katara Cultural Village and visited the Katara Mosque, whose blue tiles are beautiful. We also experienced the Amphitheatre. The beauty of the culture that creates shade with fabric shades was truly captivating. Finally, we stopped by Souq Waqif, explored various shops, purchased a few souvenirs, and returned to Hamad International Airport to disband. Despite being only three hours long, it was an excellent tour that efficiently covered many attractive spots. At the airport, I once again expressed my gratitude to Mr. Nayeem Uddin, who had arranged everything. Thank you so much! This is a wonderful tour I would highly recommend to everyone.

We booked a 5 hour transit tour with a private driver. Just a brilliant way to not only kill time but get an overview of Doha from the National Museum to Souq Waqif and everywhere in between. Five hours offered us plenty time to explore the souks as well as stopping at the Pearl for dinner! Fantastic tour. Would highly recommend.

I had a long transit so it was great to get out and spend three hours on a city tour. We made 3 stops. The first was about 19mins so we could take photos of the skyline, the second was at the katara cultural center which lasted about 2o-30 mine and then we had an hour at the market. I think the trip could have been more informative as far as culture and history. Felt it was a bit commercial by encouraging us to buy things from the market which didnt really work as most of us carry foreign money and cards were not accepted for the smaller sellers.

Ajidh, the Best Tour Guide Ever! We took the 7PM City Tour. It was wonderful! Ajidh's knowledge of the town and the history of this amazing country made this tour very worth the cost. If you have a long enough layover in Doha, definitely consider signing up for the Discover Qatar City Tour!

Well organized from the beginning when you go to the desk and they take you to immigration passport control. Tours in total of three hours and not four, but enough to get an idea of the city and the market. Worth thinking if you are in transit in Doha and it is not expensive

We checked in 90 minutes before tour. The desk stamped our online printed confirmation “DQ - Checked”. We proceeded to go through immigration after more than a 90 minute wait just to reach the desk. The lady who checked my passport took my picture and was asking her colleague several questions. She then proceeded after several minutes to hand me back my passport and confirmation and told me to go to line 20. I stoped to ask the uniformed officers for help and they said I need a Visa. The gentleman in the tracksuits took me over to another DQ desk. They gave me some hand written City Tout cards. No other info on the card other than name. We were walked back and there was more disagreements between all groups that work there if the stamp on online form was ok or we needed the cards. They still wanted our Visa! USA does not need a visa for an afternoon stay. Don’t bother!!! 3 hours later we are still waiting for a driver.
