I do postcards with my drawings and budget tours to top attractions and hidden gems of Transnistria. Transfer from Chishinau or start in Tiraspol. Honestly, I can’t make Maldives of my country, because it is not Maldives. But i can make an unforgettable journey through all contrasts of what it really is - beautiful panoramas and impressive soviet lost places, curious history and nowadays life in the country that doesn't exist, combining classic walk with forays for true explorers and adventurers.
Day tour takes 5+hours. It is not Stalinism, we are very volatile where to go and what to do, but default route covers must-see USSR era and modern bits of Tiraspol, Bendery and optionallly Kitskany, and my favorite nooks and crannies that I discovered doing my sketches. The trip won’t be exhausting, not boring at all, we will have time to talk about all peculiarities of past and present of Transnistria, you won’t be meeting a guide, you will be meeting a friend ☭

House of Soviets
This is a day journey with a volatile route that combines classic walk and forays for true adventurers. No moving between monuments with boring lectures. - “Look to the left, there is a building, look to the right, there is a monument”…. My ideology is to show real country and hidden gems that travelers wouldn’t find themselves. That’s why most places where we may actually go are not listed here. I can’t reveal them without risk that tourist industry will take them and spoil them. Anyway, first step - we will definitely stop by DOM SOVIETOV to say hello to comrade Lenin, what can be a better start?
The Christmas Cathedral
Optional loop through 100 rouble back side.
Only real Pridnestrovie, raw and uncut, only life you can see or history you can touch.

We booked a day trip to Pridnestrovie, during which Anton served as our tour guide. We were conveniently picked up from Chișinău and traveled to Bender before concluding the excursion in Tiraspol. Anton provided a tour of the capital, introducing us not only to its main landmarks but also to lesser-known hidden gems. Through his perspective, we gained a deeper understanding of daily life in the region, including the unique experience of living in a country that is not widely recognized internationally. His thoughtful gestures such as escorting us to a souvenir shop on a Sunday when most establishments were closed, and offering us a taste of the local cognac were especially appreciated. These personal touches made the experience feel warm, allowing us to enjoy the day as though we were part of a family, even if only for a few hours.

I visited Pridnestrovie (Transnistria) for a day together with a friend, and it turned out to be one of the most unique travel experiences ive ever had. The region feels like a true time capsule from the Soviet era, which makes it both fascinating and very different from other places in Europe. To be honest, I was a bit nervous at first because of the image i had from the media and the internet. But once we arrived, i found myself thinking, where is all the danger? Its just a normal, beautiful city. I will definitely be coming back next time for a few days instead of just over the day. I only wish I spoke russian, as the locals were very friendly and clearly eager to talk and connect. What really made the trip stand out was our guide, Anton. He was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and able to explain the complex history and political situation in a way that was easy to understand. At the same time, he was very relaxed and personable, which made the whole experience feel more like being shown around by a friend than being on a typical guided tour. We got to see both the main highlights and more local spots that we would never have found on our own. Anton was also very open to questions and adapted the tour to our interests, which we really appreciated. Overall, I highly recommend both the destination and exploring it with a guide like Anton. Without him, the experience wouldn’t have been nearly as rewarding. Thank you Anton!! I hope we see you soon again!

Pridnestrovie is often misunderstood, but Anton provides a window into its reality that no outsider can. There is no gimmick here: just a deeply personal exchange about life in a country that might not be recognized, but strongly exists. It is bittersweet, eye-opening, and profoundly moving. If you visit this region, going with Anton isn't just the best choice; it’s the only way to truly see it and respect it.

We had a lot packed in a day in Tiraspol and Bendery with Anton. We've seen and experienced lot more that would have been possible solo, even though we speak Russian. Personal stories, soviet monuments, real lived experience from locals. Absolutely recommended.

Anton was very passionate about talking about Pridnestrovie. It was interesting to listen to him. His partner who drove us that day, Dima, also told us so much interesting about local life.

Our experience with Anton was wonderful. I had very little knowledge of Pridnestrovie at the start, but through our time with Anton I learned so much. Don't go expecting facts, names and dates delivered from a script - it's not that type of tour. Instead, this experience is more of a conversation with someone with real local insight, who invites you to discover Pridnestrovie for yourself. I highly recommend!

A day in Transnistria with Anton isn’t sightseeing, it’s a time travel! In Tiraspol, Lenin still gestures toward a promised future, soviet mosaics glow under the light, and people walk beneath monumental façades. The past doesn’t feel gone here: it somehow adapts, and Anton can really decode the place, revealing a land that exists in suspension, between nostalgia and reinvention, between history and the stubborn will to remain. Transnistria sends messages, asks questions more than it offers answers. Is it a relic? A political anomaly? An act of self-definition? With Anton, you don’t just observe these questions, you inhabit them. Highly recommended!

Anton is the perfect host/guide if you want to experience Pridnestrovie through the eyes of a local. He will take you around like a friend, speak to locals, show you the hidden gems and most importantly he will tailor the tour to your liking and preferences. Very recommendable! Greetings from Denmark 🇩🇰

Anton is the best companion I could ask for in Pridnestrovie. He gave such a great insight into the challenges of being an unrecognized nation, while showing me around in a natural way. Anton is not a tour guide to rattle off dates - he's a friend showing you around the city they've lived in their entire life.
