I do postcards with my drawings and budget tours to top attractions and hidden gems of Transnistria. Transfer from Chishinau or start in Tiraspol. Honestly, I can’t make Maldives of my country, because it is not Maldives. But i can make an unforgettable journey through all contrasts of what it really is - beautiful panoramas and impressive soviet lost places, curious history and nowadays life in the country that doesn't exist, combining classic walk with forays for true explorers and adventurers.
Day tour takes 5+hours. It is not Stalinism, we are very volatile where to go and what to do, but default route covers must-see USSR era and modern bits of Tiraspol, Bendery and optionallly Kitskany, and my favorite nooks and crannies that I discovered doing my sketches. The trip won’t be exhausting, not boring at all, we will have time to talk about all peculiarities of past and present of Transnistria, you won’t be meeting a guide, you will be meeting a friend ☭

House of Soviets
This is a day journey with a volatile route that combines classic walk and forays for true adventurers. No moving between monuments with boring lectures. - “Look to the left, there is a building, look to the right, there is a monument”…. My ideology is to show real country and hidden gems that travelers wouldn’t find themselves. That’s why most places where we may actually go are not listed here. I can’t reveal them without risk that tourist industry will take them and spoil them. Anyway, first step - we will definitely stop by DOM SOVIETOV to say hello to comrade Lenin, what can be a better start?
The Christmas Cathedral
Optional loop through 100 rouble back side.
Only real Pridnestrovie, raw and uncut, only life you can see or history you can touch.
Postcard for the memory made by Anton Dendemarchenko
Explore most unique Soviet relics in central Pridnestrovie, by car and by foot.

This was a very different kind of tour in the best possible way. It did not feel like a typical guided experience but more like spending time with a friend. Even though we only had a few hours, I came away with a surprisingly deep and meaningful understanding of the place. Anton really goes beyond the surface and gives you a genuine insight into everyday life here. It is not just about seeing landmarks, it is about understanding how people actually live, think and feel. That made the whole experience much more personal and memorable. Anton also arranged transportation to and from Chisinau, which was very smooth and easy. The driver, Dima, is much more than just a driver. Along the way he shares hidden spots and interesting details, quickly picks up on your interests, and adjusts the route to give the experience a more personal touch. His knowledge is impressive and it is clear that he genuinely enjoys what he does. A lot of people wonder about safety. I can honestly say I did not feel any sense of danger at all, quite the opposite. The atmosphere was calm, welcoming and relaxed. Locals seemed happy to see visitors and there was a genuine friendliness everywhere we went.

If you want facts, visit Wikipedia. If you want the truth, go to Anton. I've never experienced a guided tour quite like this, because he asked us what our interests were first, rather than presenting us with a fixed tour. He challenged us to come up with our own questions, after which he improvised a tailor-made tour full of raw and uncut scenes throughout Prednitrovie. Truly a magical experience in one of the more remote places of Europe.

Traveling with Anton is the one and only way to discover the real pridnestrovie. Its not a traditional tour but a very special and raw experience, beautifull and sometimes very philosophical. Pridnestrovie will hold a very special place in our hearts forever thanks to Anton! Very much recommended!

I did a tour with Anton in Pridnestrovie and it was not the usual sightseeing script. Which is exactly why I liked it. Anton does not just feed you facts. He stops people on the street and lets them tell you about their lives in this unrecognised place. Our driver Slava picked us up in Chisinau and drove us all around PMR without a single complaint. Solid guy. What caught me off guard: Anton also asks you questions. He challenges what you think you know. By the end, you realise this is not a tour. It is an inside perspective on life in a country that does not exist. If you want real conversation and a little thrill, go with Anton. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

A very complete journey through the most unknown Transnistria, which goes beyond simple guided excursions. On this tour you will have time to delve into the territory you are visiting, as well as get to know the daily life of the people. I recommend Anton, a great guide and better person.

We booked a day trip to Pridnestrovie, during which Anton served as our tour guide. We were conveniently picked up from Chișinău and traveled to Bender before concluding the excursion in Tiraspol. Anton provided a tour of the capital, introducing us not only to its main landmarks but also to lesser-known hidden gems. Through his perspective, we gained a deeper understanding of daily life in the region, including the unique experience of living in a country that is not widely recognized internationally. His thoughtful gestures such as escorting us to a souvenir shop on a Sunday when most establishments were closed, and offering us a taste of the local cognac were especially appreciated. These personal touches made the experience feel warm, allowing us to enjoy the day as though we were part of a family, even if only for a few hours.

I visited Pridnestrovie (Transnistria) for a day together with a friend, and it turned out to be one of the most unique travel experiences ive ever had. The region feels like a true time capsule from the Soviet era, which makes it both fascinating and very different from other places in Europe. To be honest, I was a bit nervous at first because of the image i had from the media and the internet. But once we arrived, i found myself thinking, where is all the danger? Its just a normal, beautiful city. I will definitely be coming back next time for a few days instead of just over the day. I only wish I spoke russian, as the locals were very friendly and clearly eager to talk and connect. What really made the trip stand out was our guide, Anton. He was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and able to explain the complex history and political situation in a way that was easy to understand. At the same time, he was very relaxed and personable, which made the whole experience feel more like being shown around by a friend than being on a typical guided tour. We got to see both the main highlights and more local spots that we would never have found on our own. Anton was also very open to questions and adapted the tour to our interests, which we really appreciated. Overall, I highly recommend both the destination and exploring it with a guide like Anton. Without him, the experience wouldn’t have been nearly as rewarding. Thank you Anton!! I hope we see you soon again!

Pridnestrovie is often misunderstood, but Anton provides a window into its reality that no outsider can. There is no gimmick here: just a deeply personal exchange about life in a country that might not be recognized, but strongly exists. It is bittersweet, eye-opening, and profoundly moving. If you visit this region, going with Anton isn't just the best choice; it’s the only way to truly see it and respect it.

We had a lot packed in a day in Tiraspol and Bendery with Anton. We've seen and experienced lot more that would have been possible solo, even though we speak Russian. Personal stories, soviet monuments, real lived experience from locals. Absolutely recommended.
