This is a treacherous hike. Very difficult for older adults. Hak, our guide, was excellent! So patient and very knowledgeable about the plants and animals in the jungle. Lunch was delicious and the tour was great! However it is a very difficult and challenging hike for older adults.

Fabulous trip. The guides were exceptional. They took great care of the participants. They had wonderful knowledge of the environment, local culture and clearly loved their jobs. They took along a very sweet local Phu Quoc ridgeback dog (asking first if participants were happy to have dog join us). I loved learning about the sweet local dog. Swinging in the hammocks was a delight. It was shady for the walk up the hill. Waterfall was beautiful. You need to walk through a park with numerous statues. Lunch was lovely. I highly recommend this walk. Big thanks to Si and Hack for sharing this gorgeous place with us.

This is probably the only hiking spot in Phu Quoc and one of the few places in Vietnam where you can find a somewhat decent hiking trail. Its a really good spot and has a significance for the locals however I feel its best to be done by yourself considering how expensive this is for basically just a guided walk. My tour guide was the young guy Hac and he was super nice and friendly but don’t think it justifies the AUD 170 for this experience. Best to be done by yourself or if the tour company can lower the cost to $80-90 then maybe it’s worth considering. Also, it’s a proper hike which means you definitely need hiking shoes and fitness to be able to enjoy this on a hot day.

Si is a really great tour guide who knows a lot and cares a lot about the forest and its animals! This is a unique experience - but you definetly have to wear good trekking shoes because this tour is not an easy walk
