This is a totally different activity in Ushuaia, since we are the only company that has a mountain refuge on the margins of the Emerald Lagoon, with salamander, which allows you to spend a pleasant moment in nature enjoying comfort and enjoying lunch gourmet. Our guides are selected specifically for these activities, so that they can accompany the rhythm of the passengers and thus make this an enjoyable activity.(MODIFY)

What To Expect
I experienced one of the most challenging crossings in Ushuaia: a 21 km trek through forests, glacier valleys and icy lagoons until reaching the imposing Ojo del Albino Glacier, in the middle of the Andes Mountains. The adventure begins with the transfer from your accommodation to the starting point, we perform the check-up of the technical team and a short security talk before starting the hike. The tour enters the Fueguin forest following nature trails until reaching the Emerald Lagoon. We reached our mountain refuge to gather strength and continued. From there begins the most demanding section of the route: the technical ascent to the glacier. Equipped with crampons and walking sticks, the participants advance between steep slopes, surrounded by charming scenery Arriving at the Ojo del Albino Glacier, the group enjoys a well-deserved rest and lunch in front of the imposing glacier amphitheater, a unique natural setting. The return takes place along the same path, accompanied by the guides who guarantee the safety and pace of the group. The activity ends with the transfer back to Ushuaia

5.00I did this trek and the experience was amazing from start to finish. Everything was perfectly organized and the care in every detail was very noticeable. The guide (Mauro) was excellent: very professional, attentive and with a lot of good energy, which made the tour even more enjoyable. We always feel accompanied and safe. The scenery and the tour exceeded my expectations. Super recommended for those looking for adventure, nature and a well-guided experience!

5.00Enjoy a beautiful experience.The established schedules were met.The guides Daiana and Mauro with very good willingness, good vibes and attentive to each of the participants.In our group, at the height of Laguna Esmeralda a participant was not in a position to continue and ensured that she could return in safe conditions with other guides. The food ok, the chicken and vegetable sandwich was hearty and very tasty (delicious! The same as the homemade pumpkin soup (warm and spectacular mmm ).We were also offered snacks and fruit for the road. We had a toast with a delicious liquor. I would have liked to have been able to walk on the glacier but they explained that it was not safe because there was rock shedding. I don't specifically have something negative to say, maybe I would have liked to have had some photos taken from the company capturing some moments when we couldn't for security, for example in the "goat climb" but it's only a minimal detail. It was all very well!! At the end of the trip we were invited with beer / coffee and chocolates. Thank you so much for everything you have experienced! PS : essential to have good physical training and proper clothing.
