Aksla Mountain
Stop 1: Driving time 5 km and 15 minutes. View of Ålesund, from the mountain. Toilet stop. 50 meters to walk to the viewpoint. With the sea on all sides, surrounded by mountains, nicely located in beautiful Ålesund. An adventure journey in reality. This experience is unique, even for Norwegians. Panoramic view of beautiful Alesund. Here we get a full 360-degree view of the fjords around, and the islands out in the sea. Alesund, voted in 2013 by National Geographic as one of Europe's most beautiful cities that simply must be experienced. And here the weather changes in a short time, and it is just as fascinating, almost magical. Here the stairs from the city also come up 418 steps, built in 1885, 15 years later in 1900 they were opened. They stood for 114 years before they were improved in 2014 to new safe stairs imitated after the old ones in the best possible way. Then after 10 minutes of driving, we are showing a drone video of Ålesund and Trollstigen on the bus. Lasts 25 minutes

Stop 2: Driving time 40 km and 45 minutes. 0 meters to walk to the viewpoint. we don't go out. See the the old hotel from the bus window and hear the exciting story.(Sjøholt). Guiding the old hotel. (Sitting in the bus, not going out.) Driving time 45 minutes. The first time Sjøholt Hotel was ready was in 1887. Sjøholt Hotel in Swiss style with its towering facade with glass-clad verandas, is a well-known landmark along the main road between Vestnes and Ålesund. The hotel is a Swiss-style building on three and a half floors. The building is protected by the National Antiquities. Royals from Europe and famous people have stayed here in the old days when the journey time was long in those days.

5.00Rolf is a passionate ambassador of his native Norway! We made at least 11 stops on this tour, and Rolf knew all the history of everywhere we visited. He could get us into places that others couldn't go, and he let the group of us set the pace for how long we wanted to be at each stop. Rolf’s luxury custom coach was amazing, comfortable, clean and his driving was top notch. Lunch was delicious and well timed, the day flew by and we saw so much more than we could have ever imagined. Thank you Rolf for sharing your knowledge and you passion, we had the best day ever!

5.00One of my favorite tours over the last two week vacation. This is a tour guide who owns the motor coach, which is an impeccable condition the motor coaches first class with lots of customizations for the passengers you can tell the tour operator takes great care of his mini coach. The tour itself is awesome. Lots of great sites. I did this tour with my wife and two young kids and it was their favorite as well. The tour guide shares a lot of his knowledge and history and you have plenty of time at each stop. I love the idea of the bag lunch he providesin order for you to save time during your commute with a great lunch.

5.00Very personalized tour. This is an Owner driver operator. He truly cares about his van and country. It is a very well maintained mini bus the best bus tour I’ve taken during my two week vacation nice bag lunch as well. Most importantly he is a local and is very passionate about his country Which you get to hear a lot of the history from him overall one of my favorite tours.

5.00Amazing your by Rolf. He is an Alesand native and he delights in showing this city and area. The tour has many more stops than a large business tour, keeping the day interesting and informative. The custom van is made for comfort - extra large windows, immaculate cleaning and maintenance. Seeing the beauty of Norway should be first class with Rolf!

5.00This was one of the best tours we have ever been on. Every detail was thought of for us from the hand sanitizer as we boarded the bus for lunch to the readily available umbrellas. All we had to do was just enjoy! Royal Tur Reiser took us to all of the places I wanted to see and some I didn’t know about. It was a perfect day.

5.00Fantastic Tour! I selected this tour because it was the only one I found that included both the countryside AND the city of Ålesund. Rolf contacted us before the tour to provide meeting instructions which were spot on and he was easy to locate very close to our cruise ship. His vehicle WAS in fact a luxurious minibus as advertised, with fewer seats and more room for each guest. We saw several other "small group" tours with limits of 19 guests, but when 3 of these "small" tour buses travel together, it really is a tour of close to 60 people (not so small). Rolf travels alone so it really is a small group. By himself, he also has the luxury of being able to adapt and alter the tour as necessary and he also makes several additional stops at which there are no other tours. All of this together made for a more personalized and comprehensive tour. After our return to Ålesund, he gave us a driving tour of the city and took us to a scenic overlook where we were able to take in the beauty of this city and its art deco style buildings. Excellent tour! Excellent guide! Excellent day!
