This isn’t your typical Aurora tour — it’s a handcrafted, small-group fjord expedition built for serious Northern Lights chasers. Led by a professional Aurora tracker, the route follows live weather and solar forecasts, guiding you through Tromsø’s dramatic fjordlands and beyond if needed. You’ll venture into remote areas like Kaldfjord, Ersfjord, and Balsfjord — far from the crowds — where the Northern Lights reflect off still waters beneath towering Arctic peaks.
With a maximum of 8 guests, the experience is intimate, flexible, and immersive. Thermal suits, campfire breaks, and pro-level Aurora photography all add to the comfort and quality. Multilingual guides ensure smooth communication, whether you speak English, Arabic, or Norwegian.
And yes — bring your passport. If the weather demands it, we’ll cross into Finland in pursuit of clearer skies. This is the real Arctic hunt — wherever the lights lead, we follow.

I’ve been on many tours before, but this one felt different . real, personal, and full of adventure. The weather was tough that night with strong wind and snow, but Jinyar didn’t seem worried. He told us, “The lights always find a way,” and somehow, he was right. After a smooth hotel pickup, we drove for hours through snowy roads, stopping at different points to check the sky. He kept everyone’s spirits high, offering tea, hot chocolate, and snacks from the back of the van. When we finally reached a small clearing near the sea, the clouds moved just enough to reveal the aurora. He set up his camera, helped everyone get good photos, and even made a small campfire so we could warm up. We laughed, took pictures, and just enjoyed the silence of the Arctic night. It felt like a reward after the chase and honestly, that made it even more special.

We almost canceled because the weather looked terrible, but I’m so glad we didn’t. Our guide, was determined to find clear skies no matter what. He kept checking maps and radar, driving through snow and wind until we finally reached a quiet fjord where the sky started to open. He made sure everyone was comfortable, passing around hot chocolate, cookies, and warm snacks while the snow fell around us. Just when we thought the night was over, the clouds broke and the Northern Lights appeared above the mountains. It was freezing, but we all forgot about the cold. The pickup from our hotel was right on time, the van was warm and clean, and the whole night felt safe and well organized. It wasn’t an easy night for weather, but thanks to Jinyar, we had one of the most beautiful moments of our trip.

We booked this tour hoping to see the Northern Lights, but it turned out to be so much more than that. My partner and I were picked up right from our hotel and joined a small group heading out toward the fjords. The drive itself was beautiful snow covered mountains, frozen lakes, and quiet Arctic roads. Our guide found the perfect spot by the sea, far from any city lights. We sat by a small fire, wrapped in warm suits, listening to the waves while waiting for the aurora. When the lights finally appeared, they filled the sky in green and purple, reflecting over the water it was unreal. The guide took amazing photos for us, helped everyone stay comfortable, and explained so much about the Arctic and the Northern Lights. It never felt rushed or touristy, just calm, personal, and genuine. For couples looking for something truly special in Tromsø, this was the perfect mix of adventure and peace one of those nights you’ll never forget.

We joined the Fjordland Aurora Chase with Alshemal Norway, and it turned out to be one of the best nights of our trip. Everything was so well organized from the start — hotel pickup right on time, warm and clean van, and thermal suits ready for each of us. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly experienced. He checked live weather maps all night and took us far away from the crowds, to beautiful fjord areas by the Arctic Sea. We could actually hear the waves while waiting for the lights. When the aurora appeared, it was like the whole sky was moving — green and purple reflections over the water. We also had a small campfire, some warm drinks, and great conversations about Arctic life and the science behind the Northern Lights. The guide took incredible photos for everyone and shared them later through cloud storage — really professional quality. This tour feels personal and genuine, not commercial. You can tell they care about giving guests a real Arctic experience. Small group, great service, and fair price for what you get. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting Tromsø who wants to see the Northern Lights properly, away from the city.

This tour was absolutely magical from start to finish! Our guide Jinyar was perfect , not only a professional Northern Lights photographer, but also a passionate storyteller who made the whole experience unforgettable. We had free hotel pickup, which was super convenient since we didn’t have a car. The big van was spacious and very comfortable, and our thermal suits were ready as soon as we joined. Jinyar chose quiet, non-crowded locations away from city lights and even built a cozy campfire while sharing live weather updates and aurora forecasts with us. He took incredible high-quality photos throughout the night and shared them through cloud storage afterward , so professional! We learned so much about the Arctic Circle and the Northern Lights, and it truly felt like we were hunting the aurora together. Alshemal Norway is an extremely professional company small-group, well organized, and the price is very fair compared to what’s included. Every minute was magical. We’ve never had such an amazing experience in our lives. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tromsø!

We joined the Fjordland Aurora Chase with Alshemal Norway, and it was truly magical. Far away from city lights, we stopped by calm fjords and open sea views where the Northern Lights reflected beautifully on the water — absolutely breathtaking. The group was small and quiet, just nature, fire, grilled corn, and dancing auroras above the sea. If you want a peaceful, non-crowded, and real Arctic adventure — this is the tour to book!

We joined this Northern Lights fjord tour during our stay in Tromsø, and it turned into one of the most unforgettable nights of our lives. Our guide, Mark, made the whole experience feel personal and full of wonder. From the beginning, Mark shared stories about the Arctic, the stars, and how he reads the sky to find clear weather. He wasn’t just driving us — he was guiding us through the science and the feeling of the Northern Lights. His passion for what he does really shows. We stopped by several fjords surrounded by tall snowy mountains and quiet water reflecting the night sky. It felt like we were in a dream. When the aurora finally appeared, the sky exploded in green and purple light dancing right above us — and Mark helped everyone capture perfect photos. Around the campfire, we enjoyed hot drinks, grilled marshmallows, and just listened to the silence of the Arctic night. There were only a few people in the group, which made it calm and intimate — not like the big bus tours. Mark knew exactly where to go and when to wait. Thanks to him, we got to see the Northern Lights at their best. This night was pure magic.
